"Does anyone know what the hell is going on?"

Marjorie's voice yelled frantically down the marble island bench, panic eminent in her voice. Her and Reece had invited everyone for a private meeting at their house to discuss the unexplained events that had been going on; almost always ending in a Latin threat.

It was time they got to the bottom of this.

Autumn and Winter sat beside them, the two locking eyes and sharing words without even the need to talk - a communication that only those closest to you would understand. The study of bodylanguage reflecting your true emotions. Winter was always so patient and knew exactly what cogs were turning in Autumn's mind, something she admired most about him.

Charlotte and Mia sat opposite them, their hands intertwined with eachother's as they glanced a look of confusion at Marjorie. All the two had been told was that something serious had been going on and that they had needed to arrive to their house as quickly as possible. No more information had been announced as they both climbed into Mia's black mustang and drove off into the distance.

"Care to elaborate?" Mia huffed, exasperated by the suspense. The redhead hated to be left in the dark, especially in these type of situations.

Reece sighed, his blue eyes shifting to her, "Do you remember that Latin phrase we used to see all the time as kids? The one that always meant bad things were about to happen before they did?"

Mia rolled her eyes, "How could I forget? The amazing 'Momento Mori' shit." She remarked sarcastically, earning an elbow in the ribs from her girlfriend that made her giggle.

Autumn smirked as Marjorie started up again, waving her hands in attempt to explain the importance of the situation. All that really concluded was the majority of the people around the table thinking she was mad.

"Well that Latin is making an appearance again, and if by what I've been told about that small message, something bad is about to happen." Marjorie explained swiftly, Mia tightening slightly about traumatic past events reoccurring. She, Autumn and Reece couldn't go through that again - she wouldn't allow it. She also wouldn't allow for her girlfriend to be tied in with her own problems. She had vowed to herself to protect Char at all costs, shadowing her from any harm.

Charlotte was the sunshine in her life she never knew she needed.

"Has anyone seen any of these strange messages?"

The room was thrown into a long silence, Mia drumming her nails lightly on the table as Reece and Marjorie shuffled on their feet.

"Fantastic." Autumn muttered as she reached for her wine glass.

"Well that's slightly worrying then." Reece brushed the back of his sandy hair nervously, pulling out his phone, "From CCTV, you've all had this strange car following you around."

Charlotte gasped slightly as Mia's eyes widened, Autumn choking on the red alcohol she had been pouring relentlessly down her throat. Winter eyed everyone anxiously, turning to Reece, "My wife and I haven't seen anything."

"Neither have me and Mia." Charlotte whispered, her grip on her girlfriend's hand tightening under the table.

Reece plugged his phone into the projector he had balancing on his table, a blurry video loading onto his tv screen. As the video slowly evened out, it played Mia pulling up into her driveway the night they had found the diary, a few months ago now.
