Karan dialled Teja's number as soon as they rode off from the cafe to know where she was. Though this effort went in vain as her phone was with Karan himself.
"Call Jos and see if he found Teja ?" Karan said to Ravi.
"I'm driving Anna ." Ravi said in a low tone knowing the mood in which Karan was.
"Stop the car and call him" Karan said sternly.
Ravi did what he was asked to. 
"Teja is with him. They said that they will meet us at the house." Ravi informed Karan and started driving.

"Why are they taking so long ?" Karan asked Ravi as he walked to and fro the living room. 
"Probably stuck in traffic .' Ravi answered.
"Call him again ." Karan said but soon the main door opened and Teja followed by Jos entered. 
"I got donuts packed for us" Teja said excitedly showing them the bag in her hand and walked towards Karan. 
Karan took a sigh of relief after finally watching Teja infront of him , safe , beaming that bright smile.
He hugged her a little tighter than normal and rested his head on the nook of her neck . 
Teja felt the difference. She noticed the heavy breaths and his fast heart beats. 
She caressed his back and asked, "Karan, what happened ? "
Karan looked at her and smiled. He kissed her forehead and said, "nothing, I was just missing you. "
Teja chuckled, "That's very clingy of you. We were away only for a hour. "
"Okay now you go , freshen up, then we will have these donuts. "
As soon as Teja was out of sight, Karan turned towards Jos and asked with anger , "What's your job J ? "
Jos understood what Karan was trying to say , so he replied calmly "Sorry sir. Everything got so chaotic by the end that I didn't notice that ma'am.."
"Even after I mentioned it" Karan said raising his voice. 
"Sir I did get out of the car to search for ma'am after you brought it to my notice."
Karan took in a deep breath trying to control his anger. "I mentioned it before we got in the car."
"Sorry sir I guess I didn't hear.."
Karan was in no mood of listening to any more excuses and Jos's explanation irritated him more. 
He lost his calm and almost shouted, "How can you be so careless? "
Jos was shocked by Karan's behaviour. Even after all the tension between them he could not digest the way Karan spoke. 
He got offended and shouted back. "People were screaming there . I could not hear you."
 
"J , wasn't it your effing responsibility to take care about our safety."  Karan argued back. 
The sound of Karan and Jos fighting reached Teja in no time so she rushed back to them.
"It was, and I know that I failed at it and I am sorry for that too . I just wanted to get you in the car safely and in that process I just didn't notice that Teja didn't get into the car. "
"I'm sorry" Jos said at the end to Teja.
"It's fine" Teja said with a small smile.
"It's not. "
"Karan" Teja tried to stop him , but he continued, "I still can't understand how can you not notice her when she was walking just infront of you. "
Jos was tired by now explaining, so he said weakly, "do you think that I did it intentionally Anna ? "
Karan's tone instantly softened , "No man . I just..."
"Okay enough" Teja interrupted "enough for today. Ravi take Jos out for a walk."
"And you" she said to Karan "come with me."

After standing in silence for almost five minutes Karan said to Teja who was constantly staring at him "I know you think that I overreacted."
"Because you actually did overreact. 
He is a normal human at the end who is bound to make mistakes. He did a mistake, rectified it and is also sorry for it . What more do you expect him to do . "
"You want me to apologise to him for my behaviour ?" Karan asked.
Teja nodded.
"Fine, I will."
Teja grinned." By the way did you notice that he called you Anna. "
Karan smiled back "I did" he said.

It was all awkward again . Ravi and Jos were casually standing in the porch when Karan approached them.
Seeing Karan, Ravi excused himself knowing that they will need privacy.
 
Karan cleared his throat and said, "I was rude ."
 He wanted to apologise further but it was hard for him. 
"Yes you were" Jos said with a straight face.
"I think you know the reason behind it too. "
"I do ."
 
Karan hummed.
' Why is it so hard to just say sorry ' he thought. 
Jos sensed Karan's difficulty and shook his head in disbelief. It was funny to see him struggling.
"Saying sorry is seriously not that tough" he said smiling.
"You want me to apologise to you  do you even know who I am" He said with a fake attitude. 
Jos let out a laugh, "ofcourse I do , sir" he said. 
Karan smiled back and said, "I like Anna better."
 
Jos nodded agreeing.
"And I am sorry for my behaviour, it's just that I really panicked when I lost her hand from my grip and even after knowing that she was with you , safe , I still couldn't control my restlessness. "
He said after a pause, "I can not bear anything happening to her , not even it's mear thought. "
"I can understand" Jos said slowly. 
"How?" Karan asked instantly "do you have a girlfriend ?"
"Umm...yes. It's been three years now. "
"Nice. You have truly grown up. The last time I met you, you were such a shy boy and now look at you . So confident, so professional. I'm really proud of you J."
"Thank you Anna." Jos said getting emotional. "I'm proud of you too . "
"Thanks" he said with a chuckle. 
"I .. I missed you , Anna." He said with hesitation.
"Same here J ." Karan said and took Jos in a brotherly hug. "But lesson learnt. Here on we will keep in touch" he said.
"Yeah. "
"Aww so romantic" Teja said lovingly as she stood with Ravi a little away from Karan and Jos secretly watching them.
"Shut up Teju" Karan said with a grin "And guys get your bags packed, we will leave for vagamon tomorrow" he said to the other three. 
"Yayy" Teja said excitedly and did a happy dance.
