I trudged towards Levi's office, my feet heavy with trepidation. How would he react to the news? Would he be supportive or furious? I had no idea, and that uncertainty made my stomach twist with anxiety.

As I approached his office door, I took a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves. I had to tell him, no matter how daunting the task seemed.

I knocked on the door, and Levi's voice barked out, "Enter!"

I pushed open the door, my heart racing. Levi looked up from his desk, his eyes narrowing slightly as he took in my expression.

"What is it?" he asked, his tone crisp.

"Levi, we need to talk," I said finally, my voice barely above a whisper.

Levi's eyes locked onto mine, his gaze piercing. "What's going on?" he demanded, his tone softening slightly.

I took another deep breath, steeling myself for the conversation ahead. "It's...I'm pregnant," I blurted out, the words tumbling out of my mouth like a confession.

"What do you mean you're pregnant?" he asked, his voice low and urgent. "How is that possible? We're in the middle of a war, fighting for humanity's survival. This isn't the time or place for...for..." He trailed off, his words faltering as the reality of the situation sunk in.

His gaze bore into mine, searching for answers, searching for a way to reconcile this unexpected turn of events with the harsh world we lived in.

"I'm saying that I'm going to have a baby, Levi," I replied, my voice firm but laced with a hint of vulnerability.

"I know it's unexpected, and I know it's not the best timing, but it's the truth. We have to figure out what to do next, together."

Levi's expression was unreadable, as he struggled to process the news and all its implications. The weight of responsibility, the danger, the uncertainty - all of it seemed to settle on his shoulders, and for a moment, he seemed to sag under the burden.

"How can we bring an innocent child into this world, where death lurks around every corner, where the Titans' roar is a constant reminder of our mortality?" His eyes seemed to bore into the very soul of the question, as if searching for an answer that might never come.

"A world where children are devoured, where families are torn apart, and where the only constant is fear?" His voice cracked, the stoic mask slipping, revealing a glimpse of the vulnerability beneath.

"How can we condemn another life to this existence, to this never-ending cycle of horror and despair?"

"How can we not?" I counter, my voice filled with emotion. "We can't let the Titans take away our hope, our future. Our child will be a symbol of resistance, of humanity's determination to survive and thrive despite the odds. We'll teach our child to be strong, to fight for what's right, and to never give up."

I take a step closer to Levi, my eyes locked on his. "We'll raise our child to be a beacon of light in this dark world, to bring hope to others, and to never let the Titans extinguish our humanity." my voice cracks with conviction, "We owe it to ourselves, to our child, and to the future of humanity to keep moving forward, no matter how daunting the task may seem."
