"Morning," Jude murmured, his voice still thick with sleep.
"Morning," I replied, leaning in for a soft kiss.
"How do you feel about everything? It still feels so unreal."Jude stretched and smiled at me, his hand resting on my stomach.
"It does feel surreal. I never thought we’d be here, but I’m excited. We’ll figure this out together."

I get up and brushed my teeth. We quickly got up and had a simple breakfast, discussing our plans for the day. We both agreed that we should keep the pregnancy between us for now until we had a clearer idea of what to do next.
Jude’s POV
After breakfast, we went our separate ways to work, both preoccupied with our own thoughts. At training, I couldn’t help but notice that my focus was sharper than usual. It felt good to channel my nerves into something productive. The team’s banter and encouragement only helped to solidify my resolve. I was eager to support Amelia and make sure we navigated this new chapter of our lives together.
Amelia’s POV
Work was a blur, with my mind often drifting to the news of the pregnancy. The excitement and uncertainty were overwhelming, but I was determined to stay focused and professional. As soon as the clock ticked to the end of the workday, I hurried home, anxious to see Jude and share the next steps.
When I walked through the door, I was greeted by a wonderful surprise. Jude had made lunch and even picked up my favorite snacks and flowers. The sight of his thoughtful gesture brought tears to my eyes.
“Jude, this is so sweet,”
I said, giving him a grateful hug.“I wanted to make sure you had something to look forward to when you got home,”
he replied, his eyes filled with affection." the hormones are kicking"
I said tering up and Jude laughed. We enjoyed the meal together, and I finally felt a bit of normalcy return. After lunch, I decided it was time to take the next step and get some clarity.
Amelia’s POV
"Shold I make an apointment"
"Of course you do,and I'm coming with you"
"You better be coming because I'm deathly scared"
I called a private doctor and arranged for an ultrasound. Jude and I agreed that we needed to confirm everything and make sure the baby was healthy. The anticipation was nerve-wracking, but I felt reassured knowing that we were taking the right steps.
"Today at 7"
"Today?"
"Yeah,"
"That was fast"
"Idk if Im happy bout it or not"
"Everything will be ok peach"
"I hope so"
Jude’s POV
After lunch we sat in the living room and soon we were getting ready fot the doctor. We drove to the clinic, and I could see how anxious Amelia was. I held her hand tightly, offering her silent support. The waiting room felt like an eternity, but when we were finally called in, we both felt a mix of relief and nervousness.
