Thursday Episode is here you guys, I wanted to tell you that at times I come across comments where readers tell me how they relate to either Anna's or Adam's situation and I feel really good because in all honesty I find myself in Anna's shoe couple of times too. So whatever you are going through hold tight, better days are coming. ;)
P.s. if you are confused from last episode that Adam is back in game then I want to clarify that it was another guy with same name and eyes. BTW do you miss our Adam?
*Happy independence day Pakistan 🇵🇰❤*
Before I could move, I was pulled back down. Shocked, I looked down at my hand, wide-eyed to see him holding it. Avoiding his gaze, I glanced around - no one was watching us.
After releasing a deep breath, I looked back into his beautiful black eyes and glared.
"Sit.," he commanded, his voice sending shivers down my spine. I felt his warmth, his cologne filling my senses.
He is nothing like my Adam.
"Are you alright?" he whispered in my ear, sending a shiver down my spine. His closeness was overwhelming, and I couldn't help but sniff his cologne involuntarily.
"You smell like a dog."
I blurted out, instantly regretting it as I saw the smirk appear on his face.
"Do you like dogs?" he teased, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"Yes, because they're loyal. Unlike you, who just smells like a dog that just laid poo." I retorted, surprised by my own boldness.
His expression changed instantly, and I quickly freed my wrist from his grip. He was handsome, yes, but he wasn't right for me. A girl has her respect, dignity, and worth - she's not someone who can be easily intimidated. Plus, he was trying to cheat on my cousin, which disgusted me to the core.
I needed to tell Sara about his behavior before she get too involved with him. It was sad how she thought she'd found the right guy online, only to be deceived.
As thoughts of her betrayal consumed me, the blood surged in my veins, and though my cheeks glowed, it wasn't with desire but with the urge to slap him across the face. But instead, I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, waiting impatiently for Sara to return from the kids' zone on the floor.
The area allotted for children to play seemed like an eternity away, and I could only hope she would come back quick.
Suddenly, light pierced the darkness as his phone rang. Heads turned towards him, and he hurriedly silenced the ringtone, but not before I caught a glimpse of the caller ID: 'Sara.' Dismissing the call, he received a text message, and I couldn't resist moving closer to read it.
My heart pounded as I absorbed the message from Sara, and without a second thought, I bolted from my seat, rushing through the rows of chairs, stumbling in the dim light.
As I misjudged my footing, I tumbled dramatically down the stairs, rolling uncontrollably. The entire audience, including him, watched in astonishment as I fell down, unable to stop myself until I reached the bottom.
With the door to the theater opening, I found myself landing in a pair of heels, not caring who saw me or laughed at my misfortune. Ignoring the pain and embarrassment, I scrambled to my feet, my only thought was to warn Sara about her boyfriend's intentions.
But as I looked up, stunned, everything else faded away.
A short chapter I know but can you guess who she ran into?
