Lisa's condo was filled with munching and noises of delight from Chaeyoung and Jisoo. They feasted on the chicken buckets that Lisa had ordered.

Looking frustrated, Lisa was visibly furrowing her brows, unable even to pick up a chicken and eat it.

Chaeyoung noticed this, setting aside her chicken. "What's wrong?" She leaned, raising a brow. "Missing that brat?"

Lisa's eyes shot wide. "How did you know?"

Chaeyoung sarcastically scoffed. "Pft." She munched on her chicken. "If I didn't know, no one else would."

She pointed at Lisa, grimacing. "Look at yourself, Lisa. Ever since you ran into that ex of yours, you've been moody."

"Mr. Bruschweiler told me you made a mistake on one of your documents, writing "no" to the date."

Jisoo hysterically laughed at Chaeyoung's statement, choking on her chicken. "She really does hate the world right now. She'd scolded me a lot of times already."

Lisa glared at Jisoo, who showed her peace sign.

Lisa squealed, aggressively chewing the lettuce she picked up from the table. "I hate feeling like this."

"Do you want it to stop?" Jisoo placed the chicken she was eating, wiping her hands with a tissue before speaking.

"How?"

"Ignore her." Jisoo placed her index finger in front of her lips. "Completely silent."

Lisa only sighed while Chaeyoung nodded in agreement, smirking.

It was 9 pm. It was time for Lisa to go home. She picked up her bag with a smile on her face, ready to crash on her bed and not think about anything.

Suddenly, her whole body shook in fear. She stood in front of the door, contemplating whether she would go outside or not. She could feel it; Jennie's presence outside the door. She took a deep breath, put together both of her hands, and prayed to all of the Gods to not mess her up.

She opened the door, and expectedly, Jennie was there, sitting in the waiting area like a pretty princess waiting for the love of her life.

"Lili!" Jennie called.

Lisa stopped in her tracks, looking at Jennie without any expression on her face.

"Actually... there's a new movie showing today." Jennie gave Lisa a sweet smile. "and I don't have anyone to see it with."

Jennie stepped forward. "Can you come with me as my friend?"

Lisa's mouth went agape. She was about to say something but she restricted herself, Jisoo's words repeated in her head like a broken record.

She fled, not bothering to reply to Jennie, who dumbfoundedly looked at Lisa walking away. Jennie hurriedly followed, "So...!"

Struggling to catch up, she exclaimed. "If not a friend, can you come with me as my girlfriend?!"

Lisa abruptly stopped, which made Jennie bump into Lisa's back. Jennie's foot was caught by her other leg, causing her to trip.

Lisa gasped, catching Jennie's falling body as Jennie tightly held Lisa's arm for support. Their eyes met, both frozen in their places. Their breaths both hitched, eyes traveling down their lips as they admired each other facial features.

Jennie's lips curved into a smile, tightening her hold on Lisa.

Feeling the gentle touch of the feline, Lisa was put back into reality. She realized what she'd been doing and let go of Jennie.

"B-be careful." She stuttered, clenching her jaw as she stepped back.

Jennie's smile grew larger. "Oh well, I guess I keep on falling for you."

Lisa's brows furrowed, glaring at Jennie. Jennie's smile vanished in mid-air, pressing her lips into a thin line.

"That was just a joke." She pouted. "No need to get angry."

"Lisa!" Chaeyoung suddenly called. Both of them turned their attention to Chaeyoung, who was holding mountains of bras, one of them was placed on her head like a headband.

She pulled Lisa away from Jennie. "Excuse us. This person is really really busy." Chaeyoung awkwardly chuckled, "It'd be nice to stop annoying her."

They fled away, leaving Jennie standing in the hallway, sighing. She knew Chaeyoung hated her more than everything. After all, she'd done to her best friend, who wouldn't?

She could only stand there. She couldn't explain everything all at once. She knew none of them won't believe her.

When the right time comes...

---

It has been a day since Jennie stopped bothering Lisa. She somewhat felt relieved that there was no one bugging her heart or even her mental health. At least for a day, she would avoid being a lunatic.

Walking through the hallways with a smile on her face, a balloon suddenly appeared from nowhere. It was floating towards her, and "sorry" with a heart was printed on the balloon.

She jolted, searching for the only person that could possibly do this. And indeed as expected, it was Jennie, smiling as she held the string of the balloon.

Jennie stepped forward. "I already told you." She grinned. "I'd do everything to make you love me again."

Lisa can only sigh, stepping forward through the lobby.

...What?

The lobby was full of yellow balloons. There were letters on the balloon by the wall, spelled "I-m s-o-r-r-y". Jennie twirled in the middle of the lobby, grinning at Lisa.

She pointed at herself, then traced a heart shape on the air, and pointed at Lisa, mouthing "I love you".

Lisa approached Jennie, a smile on her face. Jennie's smile widened in response. She pointed at Jennie and formed a heart with her hands.

Jennie looked at the heart in delight, but Lisa aggressively pulled her hands apart, indicating a broken heart. She raised a brow at Jennie, walking past her.

"Kai, can you please clean these up? They're attracting unnecessary attention." Lisa pointed at the balloons and then looked at the people around them, snapping pictures at the famous Jennie Kim and Lisa Manoban.

There was Kai, silently drinking his coffee. He looked lost, nodding as he hesitated to destroy what Jennie did to the lobby, which was a good job.

Lisa walked past the balloons, shaking her head as she ignored the people around her who were murmuring.

"Jennie."

She felt her skin crawl hearing the voice that called Jennie's name. Her feet were frozen in her place. She couldn't move nor look back at the person who called.

All she desperately wanted to do was to escape this overwhelming hell she'd been experiencing.

The shock was evident in Jennie, brows furrowing as she saw him approaching her. She clenched her fist around the string of the balloon she was holding. She stole a glance at Lisa, who was frozen in her spot. She heaved a sigh, afraid that Lisa might've misinterpreted the whole situation.

She was indeed correct. Lisa's horrid memory of Jennie and her words reappeared, shattering her broken heart that she shattered into crumples when she declared her "love" for...

"Taehyung?"
