I looked around, my name echoing down the empty and darkened halls, followed by the sound of panting that left my lips as I searched endlessly for the noise. It haunted me. " Katrina ," someone shouted as I clutched my ears from the piercing shout echoing through my head. "You left me... you left me all alone," a voice shouted before a powerful blow made me land flat on my back against the wooden floorboards. "Why did you leave me... leave us?" someone said as a shadowy figure was shown on the walls, towering over me as its voice echoed around the hall, blood spattered across the walls. "Everyone has it but no one can lose it. What is it?" The same question asked in a demonic voice towards Katrina. "I don't know!" Katrina yelled, what felt like the fifteenth time.
Argent soon rushed upstairs, hearing Katrina shout that echoed through the apartment and down the hall. Argent got into her room to see that she was having a nightmare. Her body was tensed as she jolted from whatever held her captive in her sleep. "Katrina," Argent said to her, trying to wake her up as she mumbled in her sleep, repeating the same words over and over again.
"I don't know!"
"Katrina , you're okay, you're safe. Trouble , you're home," Argent said beside her as she muttered and mumbled in her sleep. Her hands gripped the quilts beside her so tightly that her knuckles turned white. A loud gasp left her lips as she jolted awake, her breaths heavy and thin sweat lacing her forehead.
"Your alright?" my dad asked as I tried to calm my breathing down. "I'm fine... I'm fine," I said to him, mostly trying to convince myself as I'm still reeling from the nightmare, from the thing that haunted me every time I closed my eyes."You were shouting and screaming," my dad informed me as I got up, trying to shake off the nightmare. "I gotta meet Lydia before school," I said, looking around my room for my phone. I turned to my dad, passing it to me. "Thanks," I responded as I saw a message from Stiles. "It's been a few weeks of these dreams... worse than the ones before. Are you sure you're okay?" he asked as I looked up from my phone towards him.
"I'm fine. People have bad dreams. It's not a thing," I explained, trying to get him to stop asking. Argent was convinced she withheld something from him but let her get ready for school anyway, leaving her room.

"You okay?" Allison asked as I got to my locker through the crowded school halls . "Yeah, why?" I asked, curious about her concern. "Heard you last night," she responded. "I'm okay, just a bad dream," I said to her, pulling my books from my locker. Allison gave Katrina worried look despite Allison telling Katrina that she practically needed to open up , Katrina still withheld so she came up with a thought . "You feel like coming to the shop after school today? I missed it," Allison said, a hint of longing in her voice .. I smiled at her. "Always," I said, making her smile in return. I closed my locker and met up with the others and Lydia before class .
"It's happening to you too. You're seeing things, aren't you?" Stiles asked Scott, his voice filled with a mixture of confusion and concern. Scott looked puzzled by Stiles' question, as they entered the school halls and caught up with the rest of us. "How'd you know?" Scott asked, seeking clarification.
"Because it's happening to all three of you," Lydia said, her voice filled with a sense of certainty. "Well, well, look who's no longer the crazy one," she added, directing her words at Stiles. "They're not crazy," Isaac chimed in, defending us. "Hallucinating? Nightmares? , Sleep paralysis? Yeah, you guys are fine," Lydia said, her tone slightly mocking.
"We did die and come back to life. That's gotta have some side effects, right?" Scott reasoned, his voice tinged with the weight of his experiences. Seeing everyone you love die again and again, as if it were the first time, definitely had an impact on me enough as if I needed anything else go wrong . The school bell rang, signaling the start of classes.
