Once upon a long, long, long time ago- well, more like twenty years ago, Belle married her beast in front of six thousand of their closest personal friends.

Big cake!

Yeah, so instead of a honeymoon, Beast united all of the Kingdoms and got himself elected
King of the United States of Auradon.

He rounded up all the villains and the sidekicks, basically all the interesting people. He booted them off to the Isle of the Lost with a magical barrier to keep them there.

No magic. No wi-fi. No way out...or so we thought.

Hang on, you're about to meet us, but first, this happened...

Prince Benjamin was in his room waiting for his parents, and he was fitted into a royal blue suit. Ben was set to be crowned King of Auradon in a matter of weeks, so he was getting fitted by their royal tailor.

Ben had thought of his first proclamation before officially becoming King: bringing the children of the Villains over to Auradon. Beside Ben was Cameron, the son of Cinderella and King Charming, who was a year older than Ben and had some experience running a kingdom, even though he was not king yet of Cinderellasburg.

Cameron's parents wanted Cameron to choose himself when he became king when he was ready. So Cameron decided to finish school first, take a year to himself, and help Ben when he became King of Auradon. Ben was thankful for Cameron seeing the older teen as an older brother, especially since his younger brother Chad is Ben's best friend.

Ben wasn't sure how his parents would react to his proclamation, seeing as his father locked the villains away in the first place. Ben knows they won't be for it when he tells them, but he thinks the children of the villains deserve a better life. So here he was, waiting for his parents to tell them his plan, with Cameron reading a book on the couch.

"How is it possible you are going to be crowned king next month? You're just a baby!" King Adam exclaimed as he and his wife, Belle, approached their son, making Cameron smile and look up from his book

"How is it possible you are going to be crowned king next month? You're just a baby!" King Adam exclaimed as he and his wife, Belle, approached their son, making Cameron smile and look up from his book.

"He's turning 16, dear," Belle reminded her husband with a smile. "Cameron," she said, and Cameron smiled at the Queen.

"Hey, pops..." Ben said before his father cut him off.

"16? That's far too young to be crowned king." Adam said as his wife folded a coat from the chair. "I didn't make a good decision until I was at least 48."

Belle scoffed at her husband, which makes
Cameron chuckles, "You decided to marry me at 28." Belle says.

"Well, it was either you or a teapot." Adam joked as he smiled at Belle, who was not amused, but he still sent a wink to his son and Cameron. "Kidding."

"Mom, Dad," Ben said slowly, taking a deep breath. "I have made my first official proclamation."

Ben's parents looked at each other excitedly before looking at their son, waiting for the proclamation. Ben looked to Cameron, who gave him a supportive smile and nodded for him to go on.

Ben took a deep breath, getting himself ready before saying, "I have decided that the children of the Isle of The Lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon."

Adam and Belle looked shocked as Belle squeaked, dropping the coat in her hand. Shocked by Ben's comment, the tailor stopped working on Ben's suit pants.

Ben then pointed at the window as he walked to it, saying, "Every time I look out to the Isle, I feel like they've been abandoned." He says.

Adam looked to where his son pointed before looking at Ben in disbelief, saying, "The children of our sworn enemies living among us?" He questioned.

"We start out with a few at first, only with the ones who need our help the most," Ben told his father. "I've already chosen them with Cameron's help." He confirmed, not backing down.

"Have you?" Adam asked him.

Belle held her husband's arm, saying, "I gave you a second chance." She said, then looked to her son, "Who are their parents?" Belle asked.

"Cruella De Vil, Jafar..." Ben started before trailing off. "Evil Queen, the Big Bad Wolf, and...Maleficent."

Everyone was scared and shocked when the name came out of their mouths. The tailor gasped in shock before leaving the room and closing the door behind him.

"Maleficent!" Adam roared. "She's the worst villain in the land! And don't get me started on Big Bad!"

"Dad, just hear me out," Ben tried to tell his dad, but Adam cut him off.

"I won't hear of it," Adam told his son. "They're guilty of unspeakable crimes."

"Don't you think they deserve a shot in a normal life?" Ben asked his father. "Dad?"

Belle had now moved to stand beside her husband, waiting for his response. Adam looked at his wife and son before saying, "I suppose the children are innocent." Ben smiled at his father, thankful for his new understanding of his proclamation. "Do you really agree with this, Cameron?" Adam turned to the young prince, sighing.

"I do, Your Majesty. The children are innocent and deserve to live somewhere they can have good future opportunities." Cameron explains.

"Spoken like a true king," Belle says, and Cameron smiles. "Well done," Belle said to her son, proud of him, before she and her husband headed out of the room.

"Nice job," Cameron told Ben, walking up behind him and putting a hand on his shoulder.

Ben chuckles and turns to Cameron, "Thanks, Cam. I appreciate you helping me with this." Ben says, and Cameron nods.

"Of course, Ben. I'll always be here." Cameron says.

"Do you think you can be there with me to greet them?" Ben asks, and Cameron nods.

"If you want me there, I will be," Cameron tells the smiling young prince.

Ben turned back to the window, staring at the small island surrounded by a barrier. He looked at the gold ring on his finger that held a beast's head on it. The future king could only hope that everything went well with bringing over the children of his soon-to-be kingdom's worst enemies.
