You're sitting in one of the front row seats with your friends and family. You're anticipating H/N's arrival into the field to showcase his potential to the fullest. You see the coach and H/n's teammates discussing last minute plans. H/n sees you, and gives you a wave. Your heart skips a beat when he does that. You give him a small wave back. Thankfully, no one noticed it.
The entire match you were cheering him on as much as you could, and your friends thought it was cute how you were fangirling hard. The match goes on and the score is even on both sides.
Victory! H/n's team wins. He's waving at everyone in the audience and he smiles even wider when he makes eye contact with you, he gives you a nod of acknowledgment. It felt like you had a connection with H/n.
Since the team won, they invited VIP ticket holders to take pictures with them, H/n gave you the normal ticket so you got up to leave. But then, someone tapped your shoulders.
"Uh... Y/n..." H/n smiles. "You're vip."
You turn around and show him the normal ticket, saying you weren't.
"Oh, my bad... I got them mixed up by accident. Come on, let's all take pictures." He says to you and your friends.
Everyone gathered, H/n was standing next to you.
"You looked really pretty in that story you posted yesterday..." H/n says. Your heart flutters and your face is flushed red. You thank him.
When the photo session was over, H/n followed you outside and pulled you away from your friend group. "I wanted to have a talk with you." H/n says.
"I know it kind of sounds stupid but I feel like we have a connection and I want to explore this connection deeper with you. Can we just please go on a date?" he finally musters up the courage and lets it out. You gasp, you hadn't expected this at all.
"Sure..." You smile and the two of you walk out of the stadium together. Little did you know in a matter of years, you'd be watching a volleyball match with H/n... sitting together watching your son's volleyball match in the same stadium where his parents decided that they were the one for each other.
