If you'd ask Taehyung how he'd describe his life for the past few days he'd say he was happy and content. Every moment he spent with Jungkook was something he'd cherish for his life.
Taehyung was never the one to do or need extravagant things. He has always been the one to be content with simple things. He didn't care about sleeping in an expensive and comfortable bed as long as he woke up to witness the beautiful sunrise he never missed.
Especially after going through everything, he set his priorities. He is gonna prioritize things that keep him happy. That deserves his time and affection. And he is happy with Jungkook.
To him, it's not about how big of a businessman the other was, or how rich he was, how intelligent he was, or how egoistic he was... Although he observed all these, they were not of importance for Taehyung to dwell on because all he saw was the subtle things Jungkook did for him.
They probably wouldn't be where they are now if it wasn't for him observing everything. He could read it in his eyes and see it in his actions, and that was what mattered the most. He could see things that nobody else could and he didn't hold it against them for how Jungkook acted outside of their relationship. It was like a switch. Even with Taehyung, in their meetings, he'd still catch glimpses of the cold CEO Jeon, but Taehyung loved that about him too. But the second he is out of it, he'd immediately switch into Jungkook showering him with affection and kisses.
It was surprising to see how observant Jungkook was. He might appear like he wasn't paying attention but Taehyung would bet his life that Jungkook could remember most of the things he said more than he did with Jungkook. And Taehyung paid a lot of attention to Jungkook, noting every single word and detail, so it was a big deal. All these were overpowering the previous obvious characteristics.
Thankfully for Taehyung, he didn't have to stay away from Jungkook and miss him. They resumed their project and it was top on both of their company's lists. So, they've been meeting almost every day, spending time in the office. They'd still find time whenever they could if there wasn't any schedule.
Right now, Jungkook and Taehyung are in a meeting with their respective teams, along with one of the best project designers, for their upcoming project.
"Is that all?" Jungkook asked, glancing at everyone in the room who nodded. Jungkook nodded back while looking at his watch and concluded the meeting.
Both of them dismissed their teams and Jungkook got up to shake hands with the PD. "Nice meeting you Mr Guetta."
"Looking forward to working with you, Mr Jeon." Mr Guetta nodded with a smile and turned towards Taehyung, forwarding his hand. Taehyung shook his hand with a wide smile and got engaged in a conversation.
