But Parth recovered quickly, and his expression darkened with fury.

"You'll regret this, Saana,"

he spat, advancing toward her once more.

"You'll regret ever thinking you could escape me!"

He said to a Lifeless body of Saana.

Panicking, Parth fled the scene without a second thought, disappearing into the shadows just as Kunal stepped onto the terrace. He had slipped away from the party for a quick smoke, unaware of the horror that awaited him.

"Saana Di!"

Kunal shouted, his heart dropping at the sight of her motionless body sprawled across the floor.

Without hesitation, Kunal rushed to her side. Years of medical training kicked in as he knelt beside her and pressed two fingers to her neck, checking for a pulse. His breath hitched — it was weak but still there.

"Stay with me, Di,"

he whispered urgently, his voice shaky but determined. He adjusted her head to clear her airway and checked her breathing. Shallow but present.

Kunal let out a breath of relief but knew she wasn’t out of danger yet. Gathering her limp form into his arms, he stood up, his mind already racing with questions.

Who did this?

And where the hell was Sidharth?

Clenching his jaw, Kunal carried Saana inside, determined to save her first — and hunt down the doer later.

Carrying her lifeless body in his arms, Kunal shouted at the top of his voice,

"DIDIIIIIII!!!! JIJUUUUUU!!!!!!!"

His scream echoed through the hall, cutting through the music like a knife. The crowd stilled, and the music came to a jarring halt. Guests exchanged bewildered glances, unsure of what had just happened.

The moment Janhavi heard Kunal’s frantic voice, panic surged through her. Without a second thought, she dashed toward the source of the sound, her heart pounding wildly in her chest.

“Saana!” she whispered in horror as Kunal came into view, holding Saana’s limp body in his arms. Her breath caught in her throat, fear clawing at her insides.

The Dutta boys were not in the hall at that moment, adding to the rising tension. Janhavi's mind raced — they needed help, and they needed it fast.

"Kunal, what happened?!" Janhavi gasped, her voice trembling as she reached them, her hands hovering over Saana, afraid to touch her.

“There’s no time!” Kunal snapped, rushing past her. “We need to get her inside. Now!”

Janhavi followed close behind, her heart in her throat as Kunal carried Saana through the stunned guests. Every second felt like an eternity, and the absence of the Dutta boys made the situation even more unsettling.

“Kunal, is she—?” Janhavi began, but her voice faltered.

“She’s breathing,” Kunal answered curtly, though the strain in his voice made it clear how precarious Saana’s condition was. “Barely.”

As they reached a quiet room, Kunal laid Saana down on the couch with utmost care, his hands already checking her pulse again. Janhavi stood frozen, helplessly watching, a lump rising in her throat.

“Where are the others?” Kunal muttered under his breath, frustration and worry evident in his tone. "They need to be here... now."

"But Di! Before calling anyone, we need to make her conscious!" Kunal urged, his voice low but urgent. "Someone tried to choke her... Look!" He gently tilted Saana’s head to the side, revealing the red marks and bruises etched around her neck.
