I turn over and open my eyes in bed, only to look into his eyes.
"Do you wanna get married?" he asks with sincerity in his eyes.
"We're already married." I still haven't forgiven him for yesterday.
"No... I mean a dress and vows and flower girls and ring bearers and people, and -" it seems like he dreamed of a wedding too.
I forgive him now.
"Do you mean a ceremony?"
"Sì, cara mia," he says with a big smile.
"When?"
"Whenever, baby." He gives me a peck on the cheek before getting up.
"I have to go away for a few days and during those days I want you to plan a wedding." His tone is serious now.
Something is going to happen, and he knows it.
Why is he leaving?
"Why do you have to go?"
"My brother stole several cargo ships."
"Ships?!" I sit up on my elbows.
"Yes."
"I love you, Valentino."
"I love you."
His words make my eyes water, a marriage that doesn't feel forced again.

I immediately started planning.
I didn't get a planner, though. I got myself.
He didn't give me a budget, but our bank balance says we don't need one.
Valentino once told me that if we were to get married properly, we would have to get married in a cathedral, or the mafia wouldn't come.
But what if I didn't want them there?
But what if I wanted to escape the violence?
Valentino wouldn't listen, though.
I wonder if we could rent the Cologne Cathedral in Germany?
Oh my god I wish.
Anyway, we need to talk about guests.
I'll invite all my brothers - the rest of them. I'll invite my parents, and Natashca will be my maid of honour. I'll use her little sister as a flower girl, and Valentino can choose his guests when he comes back.
He's gonna be gone for 3 days.
3 whole days of an empty bed.
I'll go dress shopping tomorrow, hopefully they'll have a dress in time.
I want a gothic wedding.
I'm sure Natascha will bake us a cake. She's amazing at it.
Actually, I should hire a planner.
I can't do all this.
I head downstairs and see LAUREL!
"LAUREL!" I run to him and hug him
He hugs me back before speaking, "I won't get my hands chopped off for this, right?" He laughs, and I laugh along.
God I hope he doesn't.
