"Aaj se aap dono pati patni hue!!"
(From today you both are husband and wife!!)
Pandit announced and asked them to take blessings from elders, they both stood up and went to take blessings,
Ishan and aadhriti were about to touch vijeet's feets first, they both bent down to take his blessings but vijeet stopped them in between.
He lovingly patted aadhriti's head saying , " Tumhare papa se beti ko manga tha maine, aur betiyan pair nahi chhuti ."
(I have asked your father for a daughter and daughters don't touch feets).
Aadhriti smiled hearing his words and hugged him being emotional feeling lucky about how caring and loving family she got.
After that they both went to everyone for taking their blessings and wishes.
Taking the blessings of all the elders and good wishes from all the younger ones. They both sat on the chairs placed in the hall for the bride and groom and did their dinner peacefully.
Ishita insisted ishan to made aadhriti eat with his hands and ishan did so.
Aadhriti repeated his actions happily and ishita took their photos in her phone.
After that aadhriti was called for the rasam of vidai.
They all went to the main hall and the path from the main hall to the exist was decorated with rose petals on which aadhriti had to take steps forward towards her husband, new family and a complete new journey waiting for her ahead. Tanya forwarded a plate full of rice infront of aadhriti and aadhriti took a handful of rice in both of her palms and throwed them behind her head.
Pallavi was walking behind aadhriti with her pallu spread in her arms collecting those rice in it.
(This ritual signifies that the daughter may have moved to a new family but the prosperity, love, warmth and wealth she brought to her family when she took birth will always remain with them).
Repeating this ritual for five times they all reached to the exit of the hall. Aadhriti turned back and directly ran to her father. She hugged him like her life was depended on that hug and cried like a child who didn't want to go school leaving his father outside.
Tears also started flowing from abhay's eyes and he hugged his daughter more lightly, after a few seconds abhay consumed himself and parted from the hug. He kissed on aadhriti's forehead and gave her an assuring nod indicating her to meet her mother.
Aadhriti hugged pallavi and snuggled into her mother's neck. Tears were continously flowing from both their eyes. Since seven years she didn't get to spend time with her family and when she came back years later she barely got a few months with them and now that she is married she had to live with her husband and family.
Then she went to her bua and hugged crying. She was hiccuping by now, nehal controlled her tears and said, "No my child don't cry, you can come to meet us whenever you want okay !!, so don't cry now", saying this she kissed her forehead lovingly.
