Mingyu is the popular guy. Tall, athletic, with a face that could launch a thousand ships, he was the envy of the male population and the dreamboat of the female. His life was a whirlwind of parties, sports, and easygoing enjoyment 
Wonwoo, on the other hand, was the school's resident enigma. Always buried in books, with glasses perched precariously on his nose, he was the polar opposite of Mingyu. He was the kind of person who preferred the company of a good novel to a crowded room.
Their worlds collided one fateful Friday night during a particularly wild party. Mingyu, fueled by a combination of alcohol and bravado, found himself surrounded by his closest friends. The conversation turned to dares, as it often did, and the stakes were rising.
"I dare you to ask out Wonwoo," Jeonghan, Mingyu's sly friend, suggested, a smirk playing on his lips.
The room erupted in laughter. Mingyu, caught off guard, felt a surge of adrenaline. It was a ridiculous dare, but he was never one to back down from a challenge.
The next day, with a heavy heart and a face plastered with feigned nonchalance, Mingyu approached Wonwoo. The latter looked up from his book, his expression a mixture of surprise and confusion.
"Hey, Wonwoo," Mingyu started, his voice barely audible over the din of the cafeteria. "I was wondering if you'd like to, uh, maybe, go out sometime?"
Wonwoo blinked, his face turning a shade of crimson, He stammered out a hesitant "Sure," before burying his face back in his book.
Mingyu was taken aback by Wonwoo's unexpected agreement. He had half-expected a swift rejection, but here he was, planning a date with the school's resident bookworm.
Their first date was a disaster. Mingyu, used to the fast-paced world of parties and sports, found himself at a loss for words in the quiet ambiance of a bookstore. Wonwoo, on the other hand, seemed uncomfortable outside his comfort zone.
"How come you agreed to go out with me?" Mingyu asked the question that had been in his mind for a while 
"I have a crush on you" if mingyu focus wasn't focusing on wonwoo he wouldn't have heard his voice because of how low it was 
"Really?" Mingyu can't hid his surprise, he knows a lot of people in the school have a crush on him but he never thought wonwoo would be one of them 
"What about you, how come you asked me out?" Wonwoo was wondering about that, from all the people in the school why did mingyu choose him, a nobody and a nerd on top of that 
"You are cute, and I wanted to get to know you for a while?" 
"Oww" wonwoo felt his face flash, he can't believe the Kim mingyu called him cute  
After that date wonwoo and mingyu started to show their relationship in campus too mingyu didn't expect for them to get along Yet, the unexpected happened. Despite the awkwardness at first they discovered a shared love for old movies and a mutual appreciation for silence. With each subsequent date, the initial awkwardness faded, replaced by a comfortable atmosphere.
Mingyu began to see Wonwoo in a new light. He was intelligent, witty, and surprisingly adventurous once he stepped out of his shell. Wonwoo, in turn, found Mingyu's infectious enthusiasm refreshing.
As they continue to go on various date,  their feelings grows. What started as a dare turned into something genuine and unexpected for mingyu 
Word of Mingyu and Wonwoo’s unlikely pairing spread like wildfire through the school. Initially met with disbelief and teasing, the couple's genuine affection for each other began to win over even the most skeptical.
