A/N: FINAL CHAPTER.
After the party was over, Rainbow Dash went over to Applejack's house for the night. They had a good time there too, enjoying each others presence and affection. Applejack was beyond thankful to have someone like Rainbow Dash, even though dating her was one of the most unexpected things to happen in her life. Yet, it was the best thing to ever happen to her. Rainbow on the other hand, was also really thankful. She never thought that she would be with Applejack, but life had other plans for them both. Though Rainbow did regret being attached to her the first few months because of guilt and jealousy, and also because they were rivals at the beginning. It all paid off in the end, because she still ended up with Applejack.
Who would've thought she'd be with her after all?
As for the others, they were happy for Applejack and Rainbow Dash. They were also happy for Sunset and Twilight, whom liked each other around the same time Rainbow liked Applejack. They had their own problems to face despite the fact that their two friends in the friend group were fighting their own battles. Caramel and Applejack were still just as close as they were before they got into a relationship. They both agreed to co-parent and put what they use to have aside and focus on the present. Same for him and Rainbow Dash; they put their differences aside and learned to get along and trust each other. In the end, they all managed to get through it and accept how things turned out. Even if the truth was difficult to cope with.
So yes, things ended up being the way they should be.
7 years later...
"Mommy." A little girl said as she looked up at her mother, who was cleaning the kitchen. The little girl had tan skin, freckles covering her cheeks and her nose, dark brown 3B curly hair that stopped at her shoulders and green eyes.
"Yes, sugar?" Applejack replied, looking down at her daughter with a sweet smile on her face.
"Am I still going to dad's house today?" Myli asked, holding her white teddy bear in her left arm. Now that she was a little older, she had a small accent just like her mother. She was a little short to be a 7 year old, she took after her mother who is also a little short for her current age; 24.
"Yes, sugarcube. We're just waiting for mom to get back, okay? Just relax." Applejack said softly. Myli just smiled at her mother.
"Okay mommy," Myli said, then she raised her eyebrow a little. "But where is she?"
"She's busy, she'll be back soon." Applejack smiled. Applejack took Myli off the ground and held her in her arms, she was very light. Rainbow and Applejack still managed to carry her even though she was 7 years old.
"How about you go watch some cartoons on TV until she gets here." Applejack said softly, kissing her on her temple.
"Okay." Myli said. Applejack walked with Myli to the living room, she put Myli down on the couch and grabbed the remote from the TV stand. She turned on cartoons for Myli and she was more than happy to watch cartoons with her teddy bear that she cuddled with. Applejack smiled at the little girl and continued to clean the kitchen.
A few minutes had passed, Myli and Applejack heard keys and the door opened. Applejack smiled to herself, she knew exactly who that was. She smiled even more when she heard Myli get excited when Rainbow came in the door.
"Mom!" Myli said, running up to the front door and giving Rainbow a hug. Rainbow chuckled softly and bend down to Myli's level, hugging her back.
"Hey," Rainbow said, giving her a soft kiss on the forehead. "Are you ready to go?"
