If you were to tell me I would be able to watch Callan, a dominant, be tied down by his submissive, I would actually laugh at you.

Brooklyn woke me up with kisses and cuddles, normally I would despise being treated like that but something about how she does it just makes me crave it.

She had asked me to teach her how to tie a knot that would be able to hold down a man. I had wanted to ask her about it, but I kept it to myself. I taught her how to do it, even letting her tie my wrist to the bedpost.

She teased and said she was going to leave me there like that, but I didn't humor her for long. I ripped my wrist out from the knot and pulled her down onto the bed, making her squeal.

After she left, a few minutes later Callan walked in with an unamused look on his face. He told me about her little plan which left me dumbfounded. I was looking forward to watching that.

I walk out into the living room and see Brooklyn sitting on the couch staring down at her phone sadly. I sit beside her and peek over, watching her hover her finger over Milo's contact.

"You can call him, baby. He's been waiting for your call." I reassure her, knowing exactly what is going through her mind. I hated seeing my girl this way, especially when she was happy and bubbly just a moment ago. But that's what happens when you have trauma.

"It's still very early.. he's probably asleep. Where exactly are they?" She asked, cutting her phone off and turning to look at me. I pulled her onto my lap, preferring her there. She smiles softly and buries her face in my neck.

"They're being kept in London. They're safe and secure. You should call them in a bit, their time zone is ahead of ours." I tell her, adjusting myself under her. She lifts her head, pouting at me. I quirk my eyebrow and tilt my head at her. "What?"

"I just realized that you haven't taken me out on an actual date yet." She narrows her eyes at me. I chuckle softly and rub my hands up her sides, feeling her warm skin under her shirt.

"I don't do dates, baby." I tell her, sighing softly. She rolls her eyes and groans, squishing my face between her hands.

"Please?" She whines, making me chuckle. "We don't have to go out anywhere fancy... we can stay here and have a movie night or you can cook us food while I beg you to let me help and then you tell me no and to go set the table."

"Have you thought of this before?" I chuckle, shaking my head at her. She bites her cheek and mutters a small 'maybe'. "Fine. I'll take you out. But it can't be tonight, I have to clear some work and then we'll go."

"Fine by me." She grins, trying to get off of my lap. I hold her still, looking at her innocently. She furrows her eyebrows in confusion before her eyes widen. "You're a nasty man."

"You make me nasty." I hum lowly, leaning forward to capture her lips with mine. "I can't wait for when I can have you again."

"Why can't you have me now?" She whispers against my lips, I smile softly and kiss her once again.

"Because you're not ready yet," I tell her. She frowns and shakes her head. I hook my finger under her chin and pull her face closer. "Baby, don't try to act tough. Listen to your body. I know you want to suck the life out of us but this right here..." I tap her forehead with my finger "Is screaming at you and warning you that if you let your guard down, you'll get hurt."

"But this.." She grabs my hand and puts it on her chest, letting me feel her heartbeat against my palm. "This is telling me that I can trust you. Because I love you. I want to listen to this."

I stare at her, taking in all of her features. I don't care if I have to kidnap her and feed her some kind of love potion, but this is the woman I'm marrying. And that's coming from someone who doesn't want a family.
