Chapter 8 The temples part 2

                                    

                                          
Jin's Pov 
I'm currently running from a boulder the size of the living room part of an apartment. Let me explain. After Y/N left, I went down the path she compared to a movie called "Indiana Jones." 
About 5 seconds in and I accidentally set off a trap that released the boulder. I started sprinting, bringing us back to where we are now. 
I dropped down and swing over the spikes. (A/N: There's going to be a lot of dropping.) I drop down and jump over the bounce blocks, avoiding the spikes on the ceiling. I drop, slide down, then drop again. The boulder dropped 2 seconds later. The force of the drop caused 2 blocks to fall down and cover the spikes, allowing me to cross. I drop down again and use the bow to launch myself onto a platform above, the boulder rolling past me. 
The platform I was on dropped, taking me deeper into the temple. I continued making my way down, when all of a sudden. BOOM! 'The boulder's back, isn't it.' I used the bow to launch me up and over the pillar while the boulder started chasing me again. 
Descending, I sprinted down the "stairs", and dropped. I ran to about the middle of the room when a tiki man appeared, but was crushed by the boulder, causing the block under me to break, making me plummet. 
Farther down, 3 blocks on the ceiling fell on the spikes, allowing me to cross again, and drop farther. I take the tiki's bomb and throw it at the breakable wall behind the tiki, killing it as well. 
Dropping more, I jump over the spikes, drop, run, jump up and over to the end of the enclosure. 'This is the end. I pray that everyone I know and love will be ok.' 
The boulder followed. It got stuck for a bit, causing the floor to turn into a ramp. I slid, dropped, and sprinted. I plunge farther, use the bow and launch myself to the platform above, again. (A/N: If I had a nickel for every time I had to use a bow to get myself onto a platform to get away from a boulder, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice.) 
The boulder rolls past me. THUD! The platform dropped again, but I got off before the spikes could pierce through me. I walk into the next room. 'Please! No more spikes!' 
I look down at the ground and, you guessed it, saw spikes moving up and down through the floor. I wake up the bats, by accident, and killed them, opening the door that was originally barricaded. I walk through the door, turn into my pig form and sniff the pile of leaves, revealing a thunder truffle. I ate the truffle, feeling the electricity flow stronger through my body. 
Walking out of the room and dodging the spikes, I walk into another room, walk down and go to the right, to find a magic shop. I refill my magic to full stock and walk to my left, entering a room with an unlit torch. I jump onto the platform and light up the torch using my fireball magic. 
It ended up attracting a group of mosquitoes. I turn into my frog form and start eating them. I pulled out my sword, expecting the fire one, but it was the legacy blade. 'Dang it! Y/N forgot to return my fire sword.' 
After killing them, a chest appears. Inside was a shield called the "Earth Aegis". Apparently, this shiel is ancient, was forged from precious terrestrial minerals, and can reflect physical projectiles back toward foes. 
I walk back towards the magic shop and down, the exit opening. Walking to the next room, I see a pit and iguana. The iguana spotted me and spitted out a projectile. The projectile hit my shield, rebounded, and hit the iguana. The process repeated again and the second time the iguana got hit, it died. 
The floor rose, leading into another room with pillars and a bunch of iguanas. 
10 minutes later, I killed all the iguanas, grabbed the gold from the chest, and jumped to the exit. I entered the room with the lightning pedestal.
