{The story will be more graphic from now on, I'm not holding my punches}
I want to place my hand on his shoulder, knowing how he must feel. But he sits up straight where I can't reach him, his tall figure towering over me. I step back and look to the ground in guilt. "I'm sorry you-" I was interrupted by the sound of gun shots, blood splattered from Sebastian's shoulder onto the wall, the bullet passing straight through him.
I turned to see where the bullet came from, and as I turned, I heard another shot from beside me. Sebastian had pulled his pistol in response and shot the attacker, Eithan, through the head. I backed into the wall in terror, and my hands covered my mouth as I gasped in shock. I tried to stay steady, but my legs were shaking. But it didn't take long before I felt the cold metal against my head, then a loud bag that made it all go dark. The only thing I heard was a whispered sorry.
The cold void felt suffocating, my heart beating quickly as I merely curled into a ball. But then, the soft voice from before spoke. "He's long dead, I'm sorry." It was soft and comforting, I even felt the comfort of warmth wrapping around me. I turned to try and find them, but there was nothing. Then, I muttered, I could speak. "Who are you?" I asked almost in panic, I had an uncertain amount of time for them to answer.
Then they appeared beside me, a blonde girl with dark deep blue eyes, it was Mary. I turned to see her in full. The sight of her sitting on nothing while her white shirt hung slightly off her shoulder was beautiful. She pushed forward off her legs and placed her hands on my face. "End this. It's easy to do." She whispered to me through her teeth. Her glare even stole the warmth I felt. There was no safety here.
I awoke in the submarine this time, Teile standing at the door, grabbing on her sleeves as Ethan sat in a chair with his knees at his head. I glared at him, hoping to stare daggers into his soul. "You have a gun?" I spoke harshly, grinding my teeth at the fact he'd never mentioned it. He merely looked away and wrapped his arms around his legs.
"Leave it, I've already scolded him." Teile almost yelled, but I couldn't tell if it was the anger or her yelling at me. I sat back against the wall and waited patiently for us to arrive. He decided to speak. "I only have one bullet." It was muttered, I almost didn't hear it. I just looked away in anger. It was too much to bear.
When we finally arrived, they both searched for things quickly. They even made it to door forty pretty fast. I was lagging behind, kept up enough to not get left behind, but far back enough that I wouldn't have to be near them. With Eithan. I tried not to think about it, he must have a reason. But nothing I could think of was a good enough reason to hide it from me and Teile. Especially not Teile. I didn't know how she could take it this well.
Teile stops in her tracks, turning to look back at me to make sure I was still there. Fiscally, I was, but the mental weight was fucking with me. "They promised him a way out. They'd break the loop on us." Teile said it like it would justify his actions. I just looked at her with my burning anger, making it obvious she knew how I felt.
"They showed him a document. Sebastian was imprisoned for the murder of nine people." Her words angered me, I had the document, and she knew this. Does she think I skimmed that over? Or I wouldn't tell her? "It's not true. Did they show him that?" I asked harsher then intended, but I needed to get my point across. She just shook her head. He didn't know.
She sighed, turning back around to catch up with Eithan. I just stood there, I needed to calm down, my face was burning as my heart was pounding, it was painful. Then, the door behind me closed. It made me jump, wiping around at the sound. Then the other closed, I was confused, this hadn't happened before. I tried to run to the door, but somehow, something appeared in the distance, I could see it through the wall.
The green figure rushed at me, knocking me to the ground. I panicked, screaming as I got up off the ground and ran to the door. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Y/n, are you ok?" Teile made me whip around, I almost hit her, but luckily, she backed away. I slid to the floor, grabbing at my shirt as the realization that I was with my friends again.
"Where did you come from? We last saw you almost ten rooms ago." Eithan seemed worried, placing his hand on my leg in attempts to comfort me. I just lay against the wall in defeat. "I need a break." I barely managed to mumble out the words, I was so tired.
They both nodded their head in agreement, and we moved on slower this time. I was holding myself against the wall, I started to question if I was sick. My stomach turned and twisted in was that didn't feel possible. But I didn't have a fever, nor did I show any other signs. But we reached somewhere in the nineties before I passed out, falling ruffly to the ground. I died on the spot.
"Sorry for how I reacted, Y/n." I left my head off the table at the sound of Sebastian's voice. I felt weak, and my eyes were heavy. I just felt a hand on my back, rubbing it, comforting me. "This took a toll on you, just rest." He gently pulled me back, laying me on his chest.
I close my eyes, my brain fading into the warmth. Everything feels so fuzzy, but it's so comforting. I feel light. My body no longer exists in this world, does it? I've reached the final death. That's what I craved from this, for the pain to end.
But alas, I open my eyes.
Laying in my bed, I gripped it the sheets in anger. I could've at least been let to sit in his arms a little longer. Just a second more to feel the pleasure in this God forsaken place. Sometimes, I believe they have something to do with all of this. That the prison must be the cause of this loop. But it wouldn't make sense. They were not aware of it, Eithan had to tell them. I just growled in frustration.
