In the night,hanging my car keys on the key holder,I walked to my room tiredly.When I reach my room I locked the door and throwed myselves in the bed.I was so exhausted.It's been 2 weeks since I came back to New York from California,because of the New job in the hospital and unpacking the stuffs from California I didn't even sleep well for the last 2 weeks.I applied for a new job from California and I got the job in New york that's why I am here.I was so excited to know that my best friend is also working in the same hospital.
Suddenly,my phone rang.It was 'MOM'.I picked up the call.
'Hey Mom I said.'Hi sweetheart,How are you?How is your new hospital?Mom asked with curiosity.I am fine Mom,The hospital is actually good,as you know my best friend from high school...she is also here.How are you Mom?Where is Dad?I asked as she replied..We are doing great...Your Dad is at the office,always doing work.Mom said in a Sad tone.It's fine Mom,OK bye Mom...I am gonna take a bath.Bye sweetie she said as I disconnect the call.
I laid down again in the bed for a minute and then I went to take a shower.
NEXT MORNING,
I opened my eyes as I heard the annoying sound of alarm.I rubbed my eys and looked at the time in my phone.SHIT..I am late!! I jumped out of my bed and went to the washroom to take a shower.
15 minutes later,
I went to the kitchen in hurry and I ate a small muffin and rushed to the sofa to take my bag.I hurriedly put on my shoes and took the car key from the key holder and clossed the door.
In the Hospital, I was doing some works in my office room.suddenly,somebody knocked on the door.'Come in' I said.
'Hi Ava!! A girl came in.'Hello Meena'I said exicitingly.It was no one,but my best friend 'Meena'.
'BITCH'...You told me that you will come to my office'.where were you?She asked me raising her one eyebrow and folding her hands to her chest.'I am so sorry Meena'. 'I was late today and also I had some urgent works to complete'.I said.
'Fine, I forgive you this time'.she said as we both chuckled.'Meena we have a meeting at 1:00pm'.I said while she nodded.
After the meeting,
I and Meena came to my office room.I stretched my hands as it was a 1 hour long meeting.I sat on my office chair and I rubbed my forehead as it was hurting badly.
Meena spoke..'Ava do you remember Nathan?' My heart started beating fast as soon as I heard his name. 'I..I don't remember' I said.'YOUU DON'T REMEMBERRR!!!' Meena asked staring me.'FINEE...I remember him'.Any problem I asked as she smiled.
'You know what.. I herad that he is one of the richest bussiness man in New York and also the CEO Of YDX Company'. I gasped when she said these.'Do you really like h.. I cut off her words by saying 'Let's go to Canteen,I am hungry.'You will never understand his love for you'.Meena said while sighing.I stared at her meaning her to stop.'FINEE.. Let's go' she said as we walked to the canteen.
