Nyssa Ember kept her promise.
Robb Stark did not take the promise for granted nor did he make Nyssa feel like she had honour it if she didn't want to. Nyssa didn't feel like bedding Robb was a chore and she truly enjoyed being with him, she did. Robb was a man of honour and he made sure to treat Nyssa with every ounce of it because if he didn't, he knew she'd make it known. Even so, the act was a sign to Nyssa that there was no going back for her, she
They had won the battle, despite the sacrifice they'd had to make, and the two of them couldn't be more thankful for that...and Robb couldn't be more thankful to have Nyssa with him. She was a fierce warrior just as much as she was a speaker.
It didn't surprise him to hear people bow to her as a Queen. Despite being crowned King in North, Robb found that he felt more like a secondary to Nyssa rather the other way around. He thought it would bother him but it didn't.
Then, there was the problem of Jamie Lannister.
"King and Queen in the North. I keep expecting you to leave me in one castle or another for safekeeping, but you drag me along from camp to camp. Have you grown fond of me? Is that it?" said Jamie, glancing at the two of them.
"If I left you with one of my bannermen, your father would know within a fortnight, and my bannerman would receive a raven with a message, 'Release my son and you'll be rich beyond your dreams. Refuse and your house will be destroyed, root and stem.'" Robb replied seriously.
"You don't trust the loyalty of the men following you into battle?"
"Oh, we trust them with our lives," Nyssa spoke. "Just not with yours."
"Smart girl. What's wrong?" Jamie chuckled. Don't like being called 'girl'? Insulted?"
Robb looks behind Jaime's cage. As Jaime nervously strains to look behind him, Grey Wind can be heard heavily walking to the front of the cage.
Nyssa and Robb glanced behind Jamie's cage, causing the Lannister to nervously turn to try and look behind him. The Direwolf of Grey Wind slowly walked towards the front of the cage.
"You insult yourself, Kingslayer," Nyssa smirked. "Not only have you been beaten by someone who is not a man...You've been defeated by a girl."
With Grey Wind now fully in view, Jaime finally lost his brave facade.
"You're held captive by a girl. Perhaps you'll be killed by a girl," Nyssa hummed, allowing the direwolf to enter the cage.
"Stannis Baratheon sent ravens to all the high lords of Westeros. King Joffrey Baratheon is neither a true king nor a true Baratheon." Robb began."He's your bastard son."
