A day later went by as you stayed home with Abel, Will, Maki, and Lian. Your stomach is somewhat showing a bump as you gently caress it.Resting at home is good enough since you're on a seven month break from hero duty. Your cousin walks over to you as he carefully handed you a cup of tea. Smiling, you take the mug and looked at him.
"You know I didn't need it."
"I know," Abel says, "but I'd thought it could ease your mind from things."
You nod and took a sip of the tea. Small giggles were heard as you turn your attention to the little girls in the room. Both Lian and Maki played with their stuff animals as a soft smile went to your face
A thought came into your mind as you wondered what the gender of your child will be. Abel noticed the look on your face as he smiled as well. "Something on your mind?"
"Well... I was wondering what gender my unborn child will be." You looked down at your mug as you stared at your reflection, "But when I do, I'll have to tell the father of my child."
"You mean Dave Miller, right?" Both you and Abel look over to Will, who's holding a mug in hand while walking towards the both of you. "I've heard of him from Dick."
"How much has the blue bird told you?" You asked, placing down your mug on the table.
The bearded redhead sighs and sits across from you. "Enough to know that Dave is claimed to be a suspect of an unsolved case in Hurricane, Utah." Will answered, "But knowing Dick, he knows it would be dangerous if you meet the guy again."
"If that's true, what will my cousin do?" Abel asked as he sits next to you, "Stay single for the rest of her life to take care of her child?"
Will shook his head, "I didn't mean like that, Abel. What I'm trying to say is that if Y/n involves herself to Dave more, it's possible that her life will be unsettling and it won't help with her pregnancy." He explains.
"That is true," you agree, "but I will have to tell him about the unborn child sooner or later." You sighed and looked at Will, "But if push comes to shove, and Dave has done something wrong, I'll have to find a new place to live."
"But where will you go?" The redhead asked, "Gotham wouldn't be a good place, knowing its criminal activity at night."
"I'm not sure if I could move in with Conner and M'gann." You chuckled, "I mean, I don't mind the company, but when my child is born, who knows what'll happen when my child starts crying at night."
Abel snickered, "I'm guessing they'll won't have much of sleep if it goes to that path." He sits up and leans forward, "But if that's a no, then how about a place in Asia?"
You and Will blinked at him. "Asia? What parts of Asia?"
Your cousin smiled, "Japan, Singapore, China, India, or maybe Philippines."
"But isn't hot in the Philippines? Not to mention the conditions there," Will says.
"True, but it could be nice to avoid the cold, no?" Abel said with a smile.
You sighed as you began to think about the options. But before you could say a word, Maki and Lian rushes over to you. "Obasan, can Lian and I are gonna play in the backyard?" She asked.
The brown haired girl nods with excitement. You chuckled at their smiles and nodded, "You may, but I'm having Abel watch over you, okay?"
Both of the girls nod as your cousin sighs, "I should've seen that coming."
You and Will snickered at Abel's dismay as he gets up and takes the girls to the backyard. You watch the girls giggle with excitement as their voices fade away in the background. Once the three left to the backyard, you sighed and glanced down at your stomach.
