After a weekend of rest, it's time for classes again. I get dressed in wide legged jeans, my timbs, and white tee with a black zip up jacket with a hood. I put on my jewelry and leave my hair out in its natural curly afro. I knock on the bathroom door. "I'm heading out." I tell Julian as he's in the shower.
"Alright! Good luck on your date!" He says and I huff. He's been on my ass all weekend about Rhayna and I meeting up so I can teach her how to paint. But it's just so she can quit disrespecting it. It's way harder than it looks. I get in my car and head to class.
I get in videography and take my seat in the back. I put my headphones on since it's still like 30 minutes before class starts. I bop my head to Deep by Summer Walker and start sketching on my tablet. I see freshly done nails land by my tablet and I sigh already knowing who it is. I look up. "Yes?" I ask her.
She smiles hopeful. "Micah said you haven't told her anything about us meeting up. So I thought to just ask you incase you forgot." She says and this is just depressing me.
"I didn't forget Sasha. I just haven't figure out when a good time would be." I say somewhat true I also don't want to do it truly.
She nods. "Right. Well um-how does this Friday sound? I know you don't have classes on Fridays and I only have one in the morning." She offered.
Just get it over with. I nod. "Fine, Friday. We can meet at the diner off campus." I say.
She smiles. "I thought it wasn't a date?" She says in a teasing tone.
I shake my head. "It's not. But I won't say no to free food." I say and put my headphones back on and continue sketching. Eventually class starts and it goes by yet again with learning something new and working with our cameras. I bought one once I signed up for this class. And since we'll be filming the project I mine as well learn how to use it more.
Class ends and I pack my stuff out to go to chemistry. "See you later Solace." Sarah says and I give her a nod and straight smile. I make it into chemistry and take my usual seat and once again putting my headphones on.
My bag hitting the ground catches my attention and I frown. "Yo!" I look up and my eyes narrow at the sight of Rhayna standing by the seat next to me. "I thought we talked about this." I grit.
"We did." She sits down next to me. "Yet you still haven't learned after a week of us sitting next to each other that your bag belongs on the floor not in my seat." She snaps back and I huff.
"You could have atleast asked me to move it. I have important stuff in there." I say.
"Fine. I'm sorry. I'll ask next time or you can just be polite and not sit it there at all." She says and I roll my eyes at her and go back to what I was doing. Class starts and the professor instructs us to grab our lab coats since we're going to be doing an experiment today.
"Assign the lead chemist and the stenographer." He says and I look at her.
"You have better hand writing then I do so I'll be the chemist and you can write everything down." I say going to do the experiment we were told to do but she stops me.
I frown at her. "You were about to explode this whole room doing that." She scolds at me.
"No I was not! I'm following his instructions." She rolls her eyes. "You know what, fine here." I hand her the vile. "You do it and I'll write.
She shakes her head. "No way, your handwriting is terrible. Just pay attention."
"How are you going to complain about me doing something wrong and still have me do it, New York?"
