Kuldeep batted his nerves as he picked out what to wear for his first date. He did not know where they were going and had no idea what to wear. He contacted his fashionista friend Shreyas who was back in India. Shreyas suggested Kul to wear something comfortable as well as cute. Kul chose a black hoodie and jeans as his fit. Jaddu on the other hand was confident. He wore the clothes that Virat had selected and sprayed his favourite perfume.

When Jaddu saw Kul his heart raced at thousand miles per hour. Kul true to himself looked like the cutest human being on Earth. Jadeja couldn't take his eyes of him. Kul lowered his gaze when he saw Jaddu staring at him. Jaddu looked like a true prince to him. With the hoots and cheers of their teammates they set out for their first date. Kul kept asking Jaddu about the location on the whole way but Jaddu didn't ruin the surprise.

Jaddu took Kul to the arcade on their first date. In Rajaputana it was traditional to gift something to your loved one as a symbol for their love. Rajput princes would hunt tigers and boars to present them as gifts for their princesses. Jaddu wanted to do the same for his prince. He wanted to win prizes for Kul in the arcade. Little did he know that Kul was the king of arcade games. Nobody could ever beat him in anything.

Kul's eyes sparkled when he saw the arcade. It was a place where he had spent memorable hours of his childhood. A place where he was competitive. A place where his true nature shone the most. Jaddu wanted to impress Kul right away but decided to start of easy. He invited Kul to the air hockey table.

Kul's smiled a wide smile as Jaddu led him to the air hockey table. "Let's start" Kul said while sliding the puck into play. Jaddu gave him a confident nod, "Alright. Game on." Jaddu decided to play easy for Kul who he thought won't be that good. By the time he was back in his senses the game was 13-5. He had lost horribly. He blinked his eyes in shock as he tried to recall what exactly happened in the last five minutes.

Jaddu started slow and let Kul score. Kul was agile and smooth with his paddle, he was much better than Jaddu expected. Next thing he knew he was being attacked by all sides. He decided to put on his professional mode and not go easy on Kul but it seemed to make no difference. Kul with his precision and skill beat Jadeja. He could see the competitiveness in Kul's eyes.

"Playing for a long time?" Jaddu asked as he tried to catch his breath
"Yes." Kul replied
"What do you want to do next?" Jaddu asked
"Bowling." Kul was excited

Jaddu picked up a no.8 bowling ball. He was determined to prove himself to Kuldeep. He rolled the bowl slowly and steadily. The ball rolled and shattered 6 pins. Jadeja was satisfied. He nodded at Kuldeep indicating it was his turn. Kul picked his ball and rolled it with a swift and agile motion as he picked a spare. Jaddu was once again bolted out of the blue. He thought the first game was a stroke of luck.

He got up from his seat as he aimed at the pins again. He had not been to the arcade many times. Only some times with his friends and then too they didn't do much. He thought this was going to be easy but Kul was beating him every time. He sighed as he got eight pins down. Kul looked at his boyfriend's dejected expression. He was confused why he was behaving like this when they had come to play at the arcade.

Kul attention shifted to Jaddu's phone on the side table as a message pinged. It was from Virat bhai and that is why he read the message.
'Did you win?' Virat messaged
'Win what' Kuldeep typed
'A prize for Kuliya.' Virat typed thinking it was Jaddu

Kuldeep stopped dead in the tracks. This is why his boyfriend had been acting weird all day. He wanted to win him something. 'What kind of a duffer are you' Kul scolded himself 'Your boyfriend wanted to do the sweetest thing on Earth and you turned this date into a competition.'
Kul deleted the chat as he looked at the score difference between him and Jaddu in the bowling game. He couldn't do much to make Jaddu win it since there was already a huge gap between there points. He decided to make Jaddu feel good in the next game.

Jaddu was not upset that he was losing to Kul, he was just disappointed that he could not prove himself to his boyfriend. His shoulders slumped as he lost his self confidence. He wanted to give Kul a gift from the bottom of his heart. "Let's go do archery." Kul suggested. A tiny hope ran through Jaddu. He was good at archery and Kul knew that.

When they reached the archery station, Kul struggled to lift the bow. He pretended that the bow was too heavy for him and he couldn't set the arrows right. Jaddu tried to help him but Kul handed him the bow altogether. "Win me that penguin over there Jaddu. Please." Kul said making puppy eyes in the sweetest voice possible. Who was Jaddu not to agree to his prince's wishes. Jaddu tried his best and after two efforts he won the toy. As he handed it to Kul, his eyes gleamed.

Kul hugged his boyfriend for the perfect present. He was happy that Jaddu seemed confident and himself again. They decided to play more games as their moods were uplifted again. Kul once again asked Jaddu for his help to which he obliged.
