PART 67 
Khushi galnced at Akki who walked inside the cabin just few minute back. 
There was an Awkardness between the two sibblings before Khushi took the intiative to start the Conversation ...
Khushi : Why are you standing Akki .. Please be seated .. Tell me .. what will you like to have Tea or Coffee .. 
Arnav looked up at Khushi who smiled as  Akki sat opposite to Arnav as he fiddles with his fingers .. 
Akki : How are you Bhai .... ( He glanced at Khushi who decided to leave  the brothers on their own excusing herself in pretext of work ) Khushi..Bhabhi ... if you can stay back .. 
Arnav instantly looked up at Khushi who was also surprised to find him addressing her as Bhabhi .. 
Akki : How is Ayushi .? She must have grown up now 
Arnav : We are doing Good .. Tell me  What brings you here .. 
Akki : Bhai ... ( He let out a sigh ) I know.Nothing is same like before but then I cannot deny the fact that You played a vital role in my Life .. ( He lowers his eyes as he looked up at them) I act selfishly ...and I have no face to ask for forgiveness from you ... I let outsiders influence me ...( He closed his eyes as he sighed harder ) 
Arnav : Akki ... .. 
Akki : I don't know if my apology can be considered or not ... I didn't thought twice before harming the person who stood as a shield protecting me since childhood .. I am sorry for what I did ..I didn't even hesitate before involving the little infant ... 
Khushi instantly clutched Arnav's hand before they looked at Aman who walked inside the cabin glaring at Akki 
Aman : You allowed yourself to get influenced that is why people take advanatages on you .. You should have the capability of thinking Right and Wrong ..  
Akki : I know I did wrong .. I was not into myself then ... I didn't know what happened ..All I was feeling dejected with the happenings .. I am sorry ... 
Aman : One sorry is enough to amend the things ? You should be glad ASR didn't let the police involve in the case .. 
Arnav : Aman .. Stop ...  Akki.. if you are thinking that everything is going to be same as before just like the older times I doubt .. I don't think I can overcome the things that you did to my family becoming blind in Revenge ... And I still don't know whether it is your redemption or just an act 
Akki : I don't expect me to forgive me either Bhai .. All I am here to inform you that I got selected in an IT company at USA... My Flight is day after tomorrow .. 
Khushi gasped as Arnav looked at Akki who further said 
Akki : I know you want to distribute the property equally ...  Your Lawyer had contacted me Bhai .... But I don't need it . Whereas I want to prove myself this time ...  Just a Request ..if I ever stumble my steps .. Will you hold on to me ...Like the earlier times ..
He said in a whispers as Arnav extended his arms pulling him in a brotherly hug 
Arnav : Ofcourse .. I will definately be there for you ... And Congratulations... Wish you a great sucess ahead ..
Khushi looked at Aman and then at the brothers with tears in her eyes ...
Finally They Sorted out ....

Khushi : It is Thakur Saheb Right behind Akki's employment in US ? ( Khushi said narrowing her eyes as she met Aman  downstairs near the canteen ) 
Aman : How did you know ? 
Khushi : I heard him talking about an IT company few days back ... You knew it 
Aman : One of our client company was looking for fresh talents .. ASR just passed a Reference .. that is what all he did ... 
Khushi just smiled nodding her head as she sipped her coffee being lost in her own thought 
Aman : What are you thinking now ? ( He asked clicking his fingers in front of her ) 
Khushi : Nothing ... I would have never know that the Rakshash has a heart if I didn't came to stay with him ...  
Aman : And You are all over heels in love with him now ..
Khushi pouts her lips before they heard Arnav yelling on his new secretary .. 
Khushi : Get ready to find one Replacement ..This one will soon be fleeing away .... Now I guess from where my toddler gets so much of Anger 
Aman laughed out as Khushi finished her coffee rushing towards the cabin to save the poor secretary from his burst out ..

One year later, 
It's been the thirteenth Day , since Deviyani Devi has left the world ... It was one fine morning when  Arnav got a call about his nani's demise who  have left the world in her sleep last night.. 
He has rushed to Devgarh early in the morning to perform her  last rite along with his family .
The Shanti Puja was done, Khushi was  distributing the sweets to the guest who have came to attend the Puja ..
She walked inside the kitchen to help Ratna who was there being lost in some thought 
Khushi : Are you fine Ratna Maa ? I know you must be missing Nani .... 
Ratna : I will not say that  I don't miss her ... I miss her but Everyone has a time period ... Her Time in this world was over .And My Mother has no regret during the time she die .. I know wherever she is .. she is in peace ...  Where is Arushi ? Can't see her .. 
Khushi : She must be somewhere around ...  Her Father might have  stopped his Zamindargiri ...but the little Toddler of mine is bossing around the Village Kids who have came here for the brunch ...  
Ratna chuckled knowing how naughty her grand daughter is .. She is almost three years old but she loves to boss around .. 
Khushi : Give me the tray Ratna Maa .. (she said as she carry the tray in her hand walking out of the kitchen

Arnav stood with the Village Head who have came there to show condolences to the family for their loss .  They were being talking about the Development that is started talking place in Devgarh very lately .. 
Sarpanch : Thakur Saheb ....It is your efforts that make the Villagers sleep peacefully without thinking about their unemployment anymore ..  
Arnav : It's not my effort but my Wife who have thought of taking the initiative to keep the poverty out of the reach from Devgarh ... Things has definately changed  since she enters in my life . 
He smiled as he find Khushi walking towards them greeting Village Head 
Khushi : How is the 'Disha' going on ?  We are planning to visit there this time to meet the Women there ... 
Sarpanch : It is going good .. I was talking on the same with Thakur Saheb .. You have being an Angel to those Women who never thought they can earn on their own .. We have sent their Handicrafts to the Exhibition at Lucknow last week  ..and it was quite sucessful.. 
Arnav : Wasn't it the Reference that you got from BNI ( He asked his wife who just nodded her head smilingly ) 
Khushi : You only said we should do the Networking properly ..and I am following it . 
Khushi waanted to do something for the women whom they rescued from the other side of the River Bank .. She with the help one of  her  NGO  friend has opened a Women Care ' Disha'  where the girls explored their talents in handi crafts, painting .. and lifestyle products which they later exports to various part of the country .. 
Khushi : Payel Jiji has being leading the Disha very well .. She was being the representative  in the Exhibition ...
Arnav just nodded his head, He still feel awakard around that Woman .. Along with othet Women Khushi has rescued Payal out of that place .. She has asked her to join Disha but she was very reluctant at that moment because she still cannot forget or move on from the incident happened in her life ..Neither it was easy for her to forgive the Man who was the reason for her ruin.. 
But then she hold no grudges against his family .. She used to look after Deviyani Devi during her last days ... from looking after all her needs to give her a company ..she was all there for Deviyani Devi who got so close to her in few days .
And Arushi also look for her Payal Maasi who welcomes her with lots of love whenever she visits Devgarh ... Though Arnav didn't like much about her daughter mingling with her but he never shows his  opinion to his wife or anyone ... 
Khushi frowned as she find Arushi running there while rubbing her forehead making a crying face .. 
She hugged her father's leg who instantly picked her up in his arms 
Arushi : a..ch..r .. They beat me .. 
Arnav : Who beat you princess and from where you are coming from being rolled in Mud .. 
Arushi : those village babies .. 
Khushi : Don't lie Aru .. I am sure .. You must have done something for Sure ... and Have not I said you not to call your father by Name .. What ASR ... that is a very bad habit .. Call him Papa .. 
Arushi : Mumma .. Malungi ( She flares her nose  but instantly dug her face in the crook of father's neck seeing her mother's big eyes ) 
Arnav : Uhhfo  ... Don't start over here .. and Arushi I will scold the kids but if I found you to be the one who start over ... You know  I will be the one who will be getting scold you want me to get scold ? 
Arushi : No ... No one can scold A..CH..R ... ( she said making a face before she pick one hair from Arnav's hair ) Another white Hair .. cha ..cha.. cha ..
Khushi laughed before picking Arushi in her lap ..
Khushi : You are getting old Thakur Saheb ..and the Grey Hairs are the proof of it .. Come Arushi let me clean you

Ratna : Where is Arnav  ? He has not returned yet .. 
Khushi : Not yet ..He will be late .... He has gone to meet Sheetal's family for Akki's marriage ..
Ratna : and your daughter accompany him ... 
Khushi : You know she is a tail of her Father .. He took her with him for talking about the alliance .. I would also gone but then you know I get tired early these days 
Khushi pout as Ratna pulled her daughter in a hug ... 
Ratna : You should be more careful with the Delivery date nearing ..

Khushi : How everything gone there ? Aru seems to enjoy a lot ..she dozed off as soon as she hit the bed .. 
Arnav : I still cannot believe .. My Younger brother finally found someone with whom he can spend his life with.... 
Arnav was little taken back when Akki had called him few months back telling him about his wish of getting settled down as he fell in love with his colleague ...and wants to settle down finally .. He requested him to talk with her parents being his guardian .... 
And Arnav has played his role very efficiently .. He is coming fixing his alliamce ..and He has taken all the responsibility of the marriage
Khushi : Finally a Marriage is going to happen ..I thought He will follow his brother's foot step ... Do you remember what you did with me ? 
Arnav : Are you regretting that night 
Khushi : No ... but I regret getting this devil as my daughter .. ( she flares her nose ) She makes me saw stars in day light 
Arnav : Another is on board ... ( He said as he pulled her by her waist as he tucked her hair strands away behind her ears .. Both of them keep looking each other being lost in their world )
