*Amelia's POV*

Today is Easter and I'm excited since my mom said we could spend it with my adoptive family. It was currently 12 and we were on our way since they lived a bit far.

"Amelia, am I going Easter hunting?" Rose asked me.

"Yeah, you are." I told her.

"What if I don't understand them when they're speaking Spanish?" Rose asked me.

"It's fine, my cousins speak English, so they'll help you out." I told her.

"And if not, you can make Amelia translate for you." Jacob spoke up.

"Me? You speak Spanish too." I told him.

"Jacob, you can speak Spanish?" My dad asked him.

"Yep, and four other languages. My parents wanted me to learn as many languages as possible." Jacob explained to them. We eventually got to my aunt's house.

"Hello, I am aunt Daniela." My aunt said. "Come." She told us. We walked in and most of the people were there. We said hi to everyone of them.

"Alright, all the kids." My uncle said. "There's 3 golden eggs and if you get one. You get a gift basket. So, 3...2...1...go." My uncle announced and every kid ran outside. It was Rose and my 10 other cousins.

"So what happens now?" My mom asked.

"We wait for them. Let me check up on something." I said heading to one of my older cousins.

"Leo, tienes Los huevos de confetti? <Leo, do you have the egg confettis?>" I asked him. He smiled and handed me five eggs. I thanked him and went to my parents. I walked behind them and smashed the eggs on their head.

"Amelia, what?" Mom asked a bit confused. "Also, oww." She added making me laugh. Before I could even speak, my uncle came and smashed one on my head.

"Tio. <Uncle>" I whined and he laughed. I then saw Jacob getting smashed by one.

"What is happening?" Dad asked.

"Let's go outside." I told him. We headed to the backyard and that's where the fun was at. My aunt started handing eggs which were filled with yolk, confetti or flour. Safe to say that by the end, everyone was completely covered in something.

"I don't want my car getting dirty." Mom warned us. I chuckled and got the hose. Rinsing us off. My cousin brought some towels. Then the barbecue started and we were having some skirt steak.

"I've never had this kind of steak before." Dad said.

"You'll love it." I told him. Our uncle gave us a small sample to try.

"It's so good." Dad said. "Scar, try it." Dad told her.

"I missed being with your family." Jacob told me. He offered me some chips, which I gladly took.

"I don't want to go to school tomorrow." I told him.

"Don't you also have a game?" He asked me.

"Yeah." I sighed. My last home game was going to be the 29th and it was going to be senior night. Jacob has his on May 7. We ended up heading home around 7 and Rose was asleep for the whole ride. I'm still glad that I can spend time with some family members.

"Jacob, are you staying the night?" Mom asked.

"No, I actually have to head home, my parents are there this week." Jacob told them. Dad nodded and drove to Jacob's house before heading home. When we got home, dad carried Rose as I decided to play a little with Dodger.
