I was about to do my hair but the doorbell suddenly rang and I looked at the clock to see it was almost five.
I quickly put my hair into a loose ponytail and walked out of my room and downstairs.I saw Joey had already opened the front door and Yeosang stood there with a polite smile.
"Joyce, your lover is here!"
"Shut up!" I slightly punched my sisters arm and our mother turned to corner with raised eyebrows.
"Lover?" She asked, looking between all three of us.
"Noo. Joey just said something stupid again." I told her.
"Ya!" my sister pouted.
"Can we go?" I asked mom, brushing Joey off.
"Of course, but don't be home too late." She said "Have fun."
I smiled and turned around to go out the door to Yeosang, hearing my sister yell "Not too much fun!"
"Can you stop?!" I yelled back.
"I don't want to be an aunt yet!"
"You won't!!"
I closed the door behind me and looked at Yeosang, seeing him with an amused smile.
"I'm sorry about her.""Don't be. People usually get that idea." The boy shrugged.
My face still felt hot as we walked away and I cleared my throat to change the topic "So where is your house?"
"A few blocks away. Near Hongjoong's, so we can walk there." Yeosang told me and I nodded.
It didn't take long before Yeosang stopped in front of a house and walked up the dirt path and to the front door. I followed after him, looking around at the average looking neighborhood and taking everything in.
"It's not much." Yeosang said and closed the door behind me after we stepped in.
He was right. It wasn't much, but enough. The atmosphere felt comfortable and welcoming even tho you wouldn't guess it from the outside.
"My room is upstairs, or do you want something to eat? Or a glass of water?" Yeosang asked.
"No, I'm good. Thank you." I shook my head with a smile and Yeosang guided me up to his room.
(3rd person pov):
"You can sit wherever you want." Yeosang said and closed his door.
Joyce sat on the edge of his bed and looked around the room while Yeosang took a seat on the chair by his desk opposite of her.
"It's not much but, well." Yeosang ended his own sentence, not quite sure what to say.
"It's okay." Joyce shook it off, still looking around. There was a radio on his bed side table but no TV or computer, the only TV there was was the one in the living room downstairs.
"I know there's not much to do." Yeosang admitted in shame "Maybe we should've gone to Hongjoong. Yeah then we could do something and-"
"Yeosang." The name rolled softly from the girl's lips and it stirred something inside of him "It's okay. I like your home."
Yeosang looked down, trying to hide the small smile creeping onto his face at the fact that Joyce liked it here even tho it looked like this.
"A few days ago Mingi told us you are.. You know, still a virgin?" Yeosang approached the topic carefully. He was trying to spark another conversation but this was the only thing that came to his mind.
