Edebali has been healing slowly. He was still unconscious from the explosion. Later, Kumral Abdal revealed that he had suffered a serious health scare due to poisoning. Bala and Kumral Abdal suspected that it was Cornelia who put poison in the soup she has with her.
In the forest, Osman fought a masked man, whom he suspected to be the one who was behind the explosions. Osman had cornered him, but Barkin Bey intefered, resulting in the masked man fleeing. Osman started to get suspicious of Barkin Bey and Ibrahim Faqih.
Malhun is sick. She had been feeling weak for a couple of days now. Aygul, Cornelia, and Zehra were also present, while Mihrimah gave Malhun some medicine Selcan told her to make. The three women left, and Malhun's aide, Alaca Hatun, arrived and took over for Mihrimah in watching Malhun. As Mihrimah left the tent, she saw Turhan Alp ride up to the three women, who had left earlier. ''Zehra Hatun. Sister Cornelia. Bala Hatun wants to see you.''
''May it be good, InshAllah.'' Aygul said.
''She wanted me to bring them. I don't know nothing else, Aygul Hatun.''
Mihrimah walked up to the women and put a hand on Aygul's shoulder. ''Aygul, you go too. I would come too, but I can't leave until Selcan Ana arrives, so Malhun isn't left unattended.''
Aygul was a little skeptical of everything, but did as Mihrimah told her. ''Taman, I hope everything's good.''
''InshAllah.''
The three women left. When they arrived in Sögüt, Cornelia and Zehra were interrogated by Bala. Later, she dismissed the two women, and she told Aygul to keep an eye on Cornelia and watch her every move.
A few hours later, Boran arrived and told her that Osman requested her presence. ''Boran? What brings you here?''
''Bey'im is asking you to come with him to Harmankaya Castle.'' he said in a low voice.
Mihrimah understood why. ''Wait for me, then we'll go to my uncle together.'' she said and left to fetch Toprak.
After they rode for a while, they were nearing Harmankaya Castle. On the road, she saw her uncle waiting. He had a cloak over him and one in his hand. ''Emmi.'' she said and dismounted Toprak.
''Here, take this cloak on and let Toprak stay with Iltutan* until we are done.''
''Is there any reason why we are going to Harmankaya Castle?''
