You never know how valuable a person is to you until the day comes when you lose them. Treat that people with lots of care and kindness so that once they disappear, it'll be like they're still with you. Cause they'll be in your heart forever.

"I hate you and I want nothing to do with you. Get out of my life." Woozi woke up from his nightmare, crying. He hadn't spent time with Hoshi for a whole week.
The latter had come to class but never interacted with him, which confused Woozi to say the least.

He couldn't stop overthinking and kept worrying. The dream was proof that they need to talk. But for now, he needed to focus on getting up and not be late.

As usual the day went on but he didn't go along with it this time. He couldn't focus in teaching the class. He kept fumbling over his words and everytime he saw Hoshi looking at him, he would become more nervous.

He needed some air, thankfully his next hour was free of any lectures. He couldn't take it, it felt so restricting to be even near the campus so he left.

As he was walking, a call came. It was Hoshi. "Soonyoung...Can we talk later? I don't feel so good right now."

"But we have to talk. What's wrong? Are you free, I'll come by."

"Nothing I just need some fresh air, I'm not on campus."

"I see you. Just wait a minute."

Still on the phone, Woozi was confused but then he looked up and saw Hoshi standing on the street across from him.

"Stay there, I'll come to you."He said immediately after seeing him. He waits for the signal and then goes but suddenly a car comes out of nowhere, hitting him.

Hoshi runs seeing this. His heart beating fast enough to jump out of his chest. He holds an unconscious Woozi in his arms. There's blood oozing from his head. He panics but still manages to call an ambulance.

"Hang it in Woozi, please. You'll be fine, you have to be fine." Tears were threatening to fall out but he controlled his emotions. The only thing that mattered most to him at that moment was Woozi.

Time skip

An hour after Woozi brought to the hospital, Hoshi was still waiting outside. Waiting for the doctor to bring him some good news.

The doctor came and woke him up. "Hoshi? You brought the patient here?" He nodded. "We managed to stop the bleeding but.... he's in a coma."

"What? For how long?" "I'm sorry but we don't know. If you want you can go see him now."

There was no need to tell him again, he dashed off into the room. When he saw Woozi laying there like he was dead, his heart broken into a million pieces. All he could do was blame himself for not being able to protect him.

"Please don't take long, come back to me soon please." He spoke hoping somehow Woozi would hear him and wake up. With a kiss on his forehead, he left the room.

"So, since when have you been back here?" "Half a month." The doctor replied.

"And you didn't bother to contact any of us. Seriously Vernon?"

"Not true, I told Boo. We even met up a week ago. I missed him so much." Hoshi coughed. "Him and everyone else. That's not the point. How do you know him?"

So they sat down and Vernon listened as the other told him everything. At the end Vernon had to comfort him with a hug cause he ended up crying.

"It's okay, he'll be okay. You're probably tired maybe you should go home." The other refused,"No, I wanna stay here with him. I have to stay here with me. I'm gonna go back to him."

He sighed and went back, sitting on the chair while he put his head on the bed. He looked up at Woozi and held onto his hand, giving it a small kiss. "I'll be waiting, I promise."

Vernon was standing outside the door and seeing how Hoshi looked at him with love and care made his heart ache for his friend and himself.

Sadly he's never felt that way towards anyone before. That was until a certain Boo Seungkwan showed up in his life. He would give up his life for him but still doesn't have the courage to start anything more.

"Maybe one day." He thinks and goes back to doing his job, leaving the two alone.

None of them even suspecting that even though he was unconscious, he could hear them. He heard his lover's voice asking him to come back. He wanted to wake up but he couldn't. He wanted nothing more to be in his embrace again.

Curling up into a ball he cried his fragile little heart out, knowing that he could hear him but the other couldn't hear him.

As the shorter cried so did the taller. Only one thought going through their minds, the words "I love you." It hurt them more knowing they never said it to each other.

The End
