Alex had told Hopper that she was spending the night with Robin when in reality she was with Steve. His parents were out of town, as they usually were.
"El and Mike are driving me crazy. They keep making out it's gross." Alex complained.
"Well if you hate making out so much I guess I'll stop." Steve joked.
"I don't hate it. I hate it when my younger sister does it." Alex explained. "I'm also scared she's gonna tell Mike that we're dating." She confessed.
"That little shit would use it to sneak into the movies more than he already does. But El promised she wouldn't." Steve comforted.
"Speaking of the kids..." she began. Steve already knew what she was gonna ask due to the look in her face and immediately said "no."
"Please. They really want to see this movie and it would mean a lot to them." Alex begged receiving another "no."
"It would mean a lot to me." She said and Steve looked at her and paused for a moment. "Fine. But only for you. Not those dickheads."
"You know you love them." Alex insisted and Steve and Alex went back to doing random things until eventually falling asleep.

The next day went on as normal. Steve had work. So Alex was at home forced to listen to her sister make-out with Mike. "Hop, please, make it stop." She begged.
Hopper leant back in his recliner and saw Mike and El. "Hey!" He called out. El quickly used her powers to shut the door. "Three inch minimum. Leave the door open 3 inches! El open this door." He banged on the door before he barged in only to see Mike and El on separate sides of the bed.
Alex got up from her seat and walked to the door. "Mike we gotta catch the movie." Alex said to Mike. After seeing El's somewhat sad face at the fact Alex could go to the movies but she couldn't Alex winked at her silently telling her she's not actually going to the movie.
Alex had recently been taught how to ride a bike so she can get places without Hopper missing work to drive her. Mike was talking to El on the walkie causing Alex to roll her eyes and bike ahead slightly so she couldn't hear him.
Once they got to the mall Lucas, Max and Will were already there waiting. "You're late. Again." Lucas scolded.
"We're gonna miss the opening." Will informed.
"Yeah if you guys keep whining about it." Mike stated making Lucas mimicked his words in a stupid voice.
"Let me guess you were busy." Lucas said before making kissing noises.
"Oh yeah, real mature Lucas." Mike remarked sarcastically. "Oh El, I wish we could make-out forever and never hang out with any of our friends." Lucas imitated.
"Lucas stop." Mike warned. "Will thinks it's funny." Lucas defended.
"Because it is." Will explained. "Yeah it's so funny I want to spend romantic time with my girlfriend." Mike exclaimed.
"I'm spending romantic time with my girlfriend." Lucas claimed.
"Alex is going to spend romantic time with her boyfriend." Max annoyed. Alex glared at the girl. "Not my boyfriend." She lied.
