Just a quick note, for some reason, wattpad didn't push out a notification for my last chapter [51. Tender], so please read that before this!

. . .

Exploring the world has only given her the reprieve that she desperately sought for. Silence as she ponders, the soft blowing wind on her cheeks as the trees rustle. Tamako turns her head, glancing at the dark spiky hair in front of her.

In all her time, she never knew she'd share a moment like this.

"Where do you intend to go?" She asks, feeling the sun burn the back of her head in a pleasant way, one that comforted her all the same.

Sasuke mulls over her words, not even twitching his head to reply back. "Wherever my feet take me." It's a simple answer, one that those who sought to reflect would take. She understands all too well.

"I see." And just like that, a comfortable silence envelops the two for just a quick moment. "Why don't you come with me?" Her feet softly glide over the grass, hopping over a small creek. "Just for a little."

The Uchiha dwells over her words, his head finally tilting back and she spots his Rinnegan peeking from the bangs he'd been growing out. "Alright."

She shows him her favorite shore in Fire where the sand kisses the glowing blue algae that just seems to go on and on throughout the shore. It stretched endlessly with the bioluminescence shimmering as if it were the mirror of the starry sky, contracting beautifully against the setting sun, hues of orange and pink against blue. Here, the soft waves danced with the glowing algae to a rhythm only the ocean knew. It reminded her of a certain trio, one that Sasuke knew all too well. She wonders if he had also made the same connection.

They watched the last few rays of sunlight dip below the horizon in silence until darkness descended, leaving only the algae to glow with only the stars as company.

Tamako hums, her palms resting on the rocky wet crevices. "It's beautiful, isn't it? Perhaps one day, you can show someone you cherish this scene." She finally opens her eyes, waiting to adjust to the pitch blackness before standing up. "We should head out now."

Their journey goes like this: she shows him her favorite parts of the east along the Fire and Water border, and he reminisces his time with Team Taka.

"Suigetsu always had something to pick with Karin." He says once, sitting beside a small fire as the leftover meat smoke dries. A kunai scrapes across a piece of firewood, carving out something that hasn't yet taken shape. "And Jugo would rather talk to the birds than them."

"And you?" Tamako muses back, poking the fire with a crystal stick, embers of fire twitching at every movement.

Sasuke doesn't say another word, eyes closed but she could spot his eyes rovering over his eyelids as memories come flashing back.

A large pop from the fire disrupts the silence. "Get some sleep Sasuke." She shuffles into her small bedroll, her back to the fire. "Tomorrow, we'll see them again."

. . .

They trek to Orochimaru's southeast base by Kiri, using chakra to walk over the water before arriving at the large doors in the middle of the ocean. It was well disguised as a small insignificant stone island.

A man drops down from his hiding spot, unmasking his ANBU mask before large eyes peer up at them. "What are you two doing here?" Yamato asks.

She greets him before jutting her head forward. "If you're here, that must mean Orochimaru is as well."
