A/N
TW⚠️ small panic attack
--------------------------------------

Izuku woke up.
He looked around the white room, and the first thing that catched his eye is an obnoxious yellow sleeping bag. He was laying in a hospital bed, with weird tubes connected to him and stuff.
His eyes got used to the room very quickly. He looked around. It was mostly empty, with a soft morning light straining through the windows.
"How are you doing, problem child?" A voice peeked from the sleeping bag.
"EraserHead?"
"Yeah kid, you really scared me back there." He said
A nurse entered the room and checked on him. "How do you feel Izuku?" She asked with a soft grin.
"Fine. Been better." He smiled back. Honestly he felt like his stomach got ran over by a truck, and he was still slightly light headed.
He spotted his personal file on the night stand, and picked it up.
He skimmed through the words untill he found what he was looking for. They also didn't know where his dad was. He stared at the paper. What was going to happen?
"Your father actually signed a contract releasing you off his care. You don't have an official guardian. Even if he wouldn't have done that we would try to get you away from him. The guy escaped jail after murdering your mom." Aizawa said.
"Oh."
"Yeah."
There was a bit of silence as the nurse walked out.
"Anyways," EraserHead got up. "I should get going, And you're supposed to try to eat something. I'll come back later with Detective Tsukaushi to ask you some questions." He held the yellow puffy sleeping bag and headed to the door.
"Okay. And thank you." Izuku said.
"What for?"
"Everything."

Nezu poured himself a cup of tea, when he heard a knock on his office door.
"Come in!"
Eraserhead opened the door and stepped inside.
"Aizawa! For what do I have the honor? You usually don't come here unless it's serious." He smiled and lifted one paw.
"Remember the vigilante I told you about that I want to get into UA? I brought you a piece of his work." He passed a notebook to Nezu, and he started reading it.
"Interesting. Have you tried to give him an IQ test of sort?" He asked with an evil grin.
"No, we thought you might want to do it." EraserHead answered tiredly. "He's currently at the hospital, so if you want to talk to him- you know where to find me. Have a good day." He got up, took the notebook from across the table, and left Nezu to his mischievous ideas.

"Hey, I got you your notebook back."
Aizawa opened the door to Izuku's room.
"Thanks." He heard the kid say, but his voice sounded a bit muffled. He wondered why, and when he looked down at the bed, he found him under the thin blanket, curled on himself and hugging his belly.
"What's up?" EraserHead wasn't the most amazing person with kids, but he was trying his best. Izuku pulled down the covers to reveal his freckled face. "I'm okay."
"You sure?" He could swear the kid's face got paler.
He got lost in thoughts for a few seconds. Tears sparkled in his eyes, but haven't trickled down yet.
"It's just a tummy-ache. The nice nurse said it will go away." He mumbled.
Eraserhead crouched infront of his bed. "I don't doubt it, but what are you truly thinking of right now?" He asked.
Izuku looked him in the eyes. "I can't go to the foster care system, I'm quirkless! Everyone will just eat me up alive unless I end up dead."

He started to panic, and he felt like he needed more air, so he breathed faster, but every inhale hurt his tummy, and it hurt, it's painful, and everything was fuzzy, and cold, and distant...

But then, it stopped.
The weight of a warm hand rested on his shoulder.
"Don't worry Izuku, it's going to be ok. We have a plan."
He took a deep breath.
In...
And out.
He was so tired.
Wait, he thought. "Who's we?" He ended up only saying the second half of the sentence aloud, but Aizawa seemed to understand.
Just then, the door opened without a knock.
"Hello! Midoriya Izuku! It's me-Nezu! The -"
"The principle of UA!" Izuku cut him. "I'm sorry! I got excited..."
"It's fairly probable, and completely fine! How are you?" He spread his paws up.
Aizawa could swear he was just waiting outside for the right timings.
"Nezu is here to tell you something, right?" He sent the rat in question a glare that could cause a chill run up anyone else's spine.
"Yes yes! We came here to offer you a spot in UA's hero course! Since you are underage, and you didn't use a quirk on your vigilantism, it can count as self defense. So I pulled some strings, and now your time in school can legally be your 'vigilante' rehab program!"
"W-what? I can't do that. You said it yourself - I'm quirkless. I can't be a hero! And I don't have a parent to pay for it or-" he was stressed, so he was rambling, but none of the other two in the room looked worried about the same things.
"Kid, you already are a hero." Eraserhead moved his hand to ruffle his hair.
