Phoebe and Mike arrived shortly after, looking as in love as ever. They had recently gotten engaged, and their happiness was contagious.
"Happy birthday, Emma!" Phoebe sang out, giving the birthday girl a big hug. "You're getting so big!"
Mike smiled, holding Phoebe's hand. "It's good to see everyone. We've got some wedding plans to share with you all later."
As the party got underway, Joey finally returned with the cake, a look of triumph on his face. "I got it! And it's still intact!" he announced, setting it down on the table.
Monica sighed in relief, giving Joey a quick kiss. "Thank you, Joey. You saved the day."
As everyone gathered around to sing "Happy Birthday" to Emma, Chandler and Darcy stood off to the side, holding hands. They watched as Ross and Rachel helped Emma blow out her candle, the love and joy in the room palpable.
As the party continued, the friends shared stories, laughter, and dreams for the future. Joey and Monica talked excitedly about their plans to start a family, while Ross and Rachel marveled at how much their lives had changed since Emma was born.
Phoebe and Mike sat together, discussing their wedding plans with anyone who would listen, their excitement evident. And amidst it all, Chandler and Darcy found moments of peace and contentment, knowing that despite the sleepless nights and the challenges of parenthood, they were exactly where they were meant to be.
The One Where Rachel's Sister Babysits
The bustling streets of New York City were just beginning to slow down as dusk fell, casting a soft glow over the bustling metropolis. Chandler and Darcy, were navigating the tumultuous waters of parenthood. Their newborn, Joey, had turned their world upside down in the most beautiful yet exhausting way.
"Chandler, can you please grab another diaper?" Darcy called from the nursery, her voice tinged with fatigue but also a trace of amusement.
Chandler, already half asleep, groggily made his way to the changing table. "I'm on it, honey. Don't worry." He handed the diaper to Darcy, who expertly changed their baby boy.
"Who knew such a tiny person could produce so much... stuff?" Chandler muttered, shaking his head in disbelief.
Darcy laughed softly. "Welcome to parenthood. It's messy, exhausting, but completely worth it." She leaned in to kiss Joey's forehead, her love for her son evident in her every gesture.
In the meantime, Joey and Monica were preparing their home for adoption. They had decided to expand their family and were eagerly anticipating the arrival of their future child. Monica was in full organization mode, ensuring everything was perfect.
"Joey, did you remember to baby-proof the kitchen?" Monica asked, her voice echoing through their apartment.
"Yeah, Mon. Everything's locked up tight. We're ready," Joey replied, his enthusiasm barely contained. "I can't wait to meet our little one. It's going to be amazing."
Back at Rachel and Ross's apartment, Rachel's sister, Amy, was in charge of babysitting Emma for the evening. Rachel and Ross were hesitant but hoped that Amy could handle the responsibility.
"Amy, are you sure you've got this?" Rachel asked, her brow furrowed with concern.
"Rach, relax! I've got everything under control," Amy reassured her, waving off her sister's worries. "How hard can it be to watch a baby?"
