King immediately went to block the door as the hand rattled, and Iwaizumi panicked, diving under the duvet."Is everything okay?" Oikawa asked from the other side.
King cut him off. "Iwaizumi is getting changed, so fuck off!"
"Then why are you in there?" Oikawa asked, and she paused.
"Well, this situation seems familiar," you said casually.
King took a deep breath before opening the door. Oikawa walked in, awkwardly eyeing the three of you. "Well, this situation looks familiar," he said.
"Don't steal my joke," you scolded.
"How was I supposed to know?!" he retorted before King interrupted.
"Tooru, there's a lot we—no, I—need to talk about. The truth is I'm worried. I know after your sister left, we split to better ourselves. I feel I am better, but I don't know if it's better for you. I improved and learned on my own, but I struggle to trust my judgment as the last time I thought I was doing good, I ruined our relationship and one of our best friend's. I didn't want to turn us into a trauma bond if I stayed. It's easy to leave a problem unsolved and come back when you have more clues, but the only thing I haven't solved is you, and I can't do it alone. Because my mind says to stop opening up old scars, but I can't when I think at night I wish you needed me back how I want you. This is me being honest, not running away but putting my effort in if you have any room because I'm tired of acting like I don't miss you," she spoke out.
The room fell silent as Oikawa listened, taking in her words. His eyes flicked to you and Iwaizumi, remembering his audience. "Come here, King," he said, reaching for her hand and leading her to his old room to talk privately.
Oikawa closed the door and faced King. She stared at him anxiously. "I'm not good with relationships," she blurted out, and a gentle smile appeared on his face. "I know," he said, as tears welled up in her eyes. "But I put blame on myself too for many mistakes I made. At the end of it, my sister is healed to the point she feels peace and at home again. I healed myself only because she could forgive me, and I accept us, only because she can forgive you."
He wiped her tears away. "I was confused too about how things would go between us. You told me we'd be over if you went to 'jail', then you asked for us to take a step back, then you blocked me—even how you blew up at me yesterday. But somehow, we held each other the whole night. I want you to know I never ran away because I never wanted to. Even with Y/N's blessing, I still have my faults, King. But if you let me approach you and be close again, I would like to show you my better too. It's not a trauma bond when we've bonded from day one. I just love you entirely."
More tears poured from her eyes as she rested against his shoulder, sniffing and huffing. Oikawa kissed the top of her head and held her close.

In the meantime, you lent Iwaizumi an oversized t-shirt to replace his wet one. "I'll make sure to wash it and give it back to you. I'm so sorry again," you apologized, feeling embarrassed.
"It's no problem at all," Iwaizumi said, smiling warmly. "Actually, what are your plans now?"
You blinked, caught off guard. "Um, I was planning on doing some shopping."
"I could help with that. I could take you out after if you're free too," he suggested casually, his forwardness making your cheeks flare up. You tried to keep your composure, fiddling with your hair to distract from your nerves as your heart raced.
"That sounds great," you managed to say. "I guess this is a date."
"Great. I'll head home and change, and be back to pick you up in a bit," he said, leaving with a smile that made your heart flutter.
