Lowering the picture you all stared at the black and white pet in the woman's arms.
It grumbled with a sneeze making you all sweat drop nervously. "She's a darling girl, isn't she?" The woman said as children ran by, playing.
Letting out a noise you, Ed, and Al reared around. "That's definitely not her!" He exclaimed in a whisper. "Yeah, we know." You cringed.
"We can't afford to waste our time here humoring some old lady and her stupid cat." Ed groaned, head flopping against your shoulder.
Al looked down at his drawing. "Come on, where are you hiding?"
—
"Alkahestry, maybe they have some information in the library." You suggested, walking towards the Central public library.
"Yeah, if we can't find that bratty little girl I don't see what other choice we have." Ed claimed, hands resting behind his head.
"I hope we can at least find something." Al said.
Inside the Library books upon books piled up and so far no information was found about Alkahestry.
Ed grumbled under his breath, slamming his book shut. "No use." Picking up the piles of books you both went around putting the back in their respective spots.
"Why is there so little information about Alkahestry? At this rate I'm thinking we might as well go to Xing." He expressed, putting a book back into its place.
You chuckled. "I know how to get us there." You joked, nudging his shoulder.
Ed groaned with a laugh. "It'll be hard, crossing the desert with automail sounds hot." Putting another book back when a shadow cats over the two of you.
