Felix was quiet the whole time. As he walked through the hallway towards his class, he noticed a boy standing against the wall. Felix's breath grew heavy as soon as he saw him again, and he froze in his tracks, unable to move.
The boy noticed him and smirked, walking toward Felix, who instinctively stepped backward. The terror Felix felt was palpable, he has a wide smirk plastered on his face and he is here meant trouble for felix.
"Long time no see, Felix," the boy said, his hands in the pockets of his black ripped jeans, wearing a black hoodie.
"K-kevin, wh-what are you d-doing h-here?" Felix stammered, scared to death. He knew Kevin all too well, Kevin is Minjeon's right-hand man, the one who had made his life a living hell.
Kevin chuckled, glancing at the passing students and smiling at them to avoid arousing suspicion.
"I'm here to take you home," he said, the smirk never leaving his face.
Felix was sweating, he didn't know what to do, if he went with him that's better, and if he didn't then he won't hesitate to kill anyone who came on the line. So he just went with the first one
Felix nodded hesitantly, making Kevin smile evilly. Kevin grabbed his wrist forcefully, causing Felix pain, but he couldn't argue or resist. He allowed Kevin to drag him wherever he wanted. Felix kept his gaze fixed on the ground as Kevin pulled him along, but through his bangs, he could still see the person in front of him. He noticed teachers passing by, yet he couldn't bring himself to ask for help. The only person he could think to ask for help was Hyunjin, whom he saw approaching.
Hyunjin passed right by him without giving Felix a single glance. Felix couldn't ask Hyunjin for help because, in college, Hyunjin didn't know him.
'Is it my fate to be with Minjeon?' Felix thought, despair settling in his heart.
They left the college area and approached a white car. Kevin forced Felix into the car, and Felix complied hesitantly. Kevin then got into the driver's seat. At that moment, Felix decided to go with the flow, reflecting on how his life had begun and where it was heading. His life felt like a rollercoaster, he had never experienced true happiness, from childhood through his teenage years. Even finding someone worth living for, at last, it always felt like an incomplete dream.
Sometimes, Felix wondered why he didn't just die and show everyone that he is also a living human being, not a toy. He has so much turmoil in his life, but he never shared it with anyone because he had no one. He kept it all inside, waiting for a moment to escape. People often say there's always a sad face behind a smiling one, and Felix embodied that. He appeared to be always smiling and needy, but he is hiding a lot of pain. He had many reasons to disappear and make the world regret losing him, if anyone even cared.
A car suddenly sped past them, causing both Kevin and Felix to flinch. The car came dangerously close, and Kevin stopped his car to avoid a collision as the other car also came to a halt in front of them. Felix braced himself for a major accident, but it didn't happen.
Kevin got out of the car, furious, ready to confront the other driver. But when the driver of the second car stepped out, Kevin sensed something was off. He pulled out his gun, but he was too late. The other driver was faster, shooting Kevin in the hand and causing him to drop his weapon. As Kevin writhed in pain, the boy dragged Felix towards his own car and drove off, leaving Felix in a state of shock and confusion.
Felix is now even more terrified than he had been with Kevin. At least with Kevin, he knew he was being taken to Minjeon. But this boy? What are his intentions? is he planning to kill Felix or something worse?
After some time, Felix saw a familiar mansion coming into view, the Hwang family mansion. He is shocked and still couldn't grasp what was happening. The boy parked the car, got out, and opened the door for Felix. Felix stepped out, and they walked towards the familiar front door. The boy knocked, and the door was opened by Lia, a familiar presence.
They walked towards the meeting room where their family meetings were held in the mansion. Felix followed the boy silently, who knocked on a door Felix had never visited before. The boy opened the door, and there, sitting on the main chair, was Hwang Hyunjin, still in his usual outfit.

Felix knew, it might be Hyunjin, but he was still shocked. Why? How? When did Hyunjin find out?

His wide eyes looked at Hyunjin with tear-streaked cheeks, still wet from earlier.

"I'll go, sir," the boy said, bowing before leaving after Hyunjin nodded in acknowledgment.Hyunjin just sat there on the main chair, spinning a pen in his hand, not saying anything. Felix was scared and he felt ashamed. He had lied to Hyunjin, and it was clear that Hyunjin knew. Felix's mind raced with worry, would Hyunjin kick him out? He couldn't bear the thought of going back to Minjeon.
