Walking up to Chris's apartment building. I snap close the door to the cab.

The driver tells me to have a good day, I don't answer him. First of all, ew.

Second of all, I will have a good day if I want to.

Chris lives on the busiest street ever, there's honking, people rushing on the street and don't get me started on the weirdos around here.

Swaying my hips back and forth, I flip my hair back as I march into this busy building. Ignoring the cat calls and stares flying my way.

My heels click on the ground, and I throw my expensive purse over my arm. Aggressively pushing the elevator buttons, I tap my foot impatiently.

Staring at my nails, waiting for this cart to take me where I need to go. And when the doors finally open, the cutest guy I've ever seen walks in as I'm walking out.

Tilting my head, he stares at me as I smile at him. He smiles back, we stare at each other for a little bit. He goes to talk when the doors close.

I giggle and keep walking down Chris's hallway, my curls swoosh up and down with each determined step.

Approaching his door, I take out the key he gave me, and smile as I push it into the lock.

My smile quickly fades as the key doesn't do anything, it doesn't even turn!

Growling, I throw my foot to the ground. Feeling myself get upset with each second that passes, "Chris!"

It can't be, how could he change the lock and not tell me?! I understand he hasn't texted me in a while, I know we barely see each other anymore and I know he's mad at me...but, I-I thought I could at least see him.

I have big news, and since he's not answering his phone.

"CHRIS! Hello???" I scream, pounding my knuckles against the door. I know he's in there. He's always home, because he's like that. A homebody.

Not that I ever thought I'd end up with a homebody, but here I am. It might have to do something with the fact that he's hot.

The door finally opens, and Chris's brother Scott is making a face at me. We don't really like each other.

And I don't really care to like him or Chris's mom who also despises me. They're not my boyfriend. Chris is.

No matter how many times I call Chris and he doesn't answer, no matter how many times he reminds me that we're broken up. I won't stand for it.

I don't get broken up with.

"What are you doing here?"

Scott gives me an uninterested stare, clearly not pleasantly surprised by my arrival.

"Ugh, is Chris here?" I cross my arms, standing tall. "He isn't answering my calls."

Making a face, Scott is annoyed with me.
