I've read a few fanfics involving Adrien finding out his father is a supervillain, its unknown for real in the future show if he will find out the truth for himself or will Cerise twist of the truth to him. In my opinion, its best if he never knows the dark truth because his parents don't want him in the crossfire for indirectly causing his mother to become ill and unintentionally cataclysm his own father. We all saw how it went in the alternative timeline of Cat Blanc as Cat Noir to lose control of himself and get akumatized. Same for in Ephermel, he could not resist from being controlled by his father and did nothing but obey and get akumatized. Although I do fear for Marinette to carry that burden in the future because if Cerise witnessed everything, she could twist the truth to Adrien that Ladybug lied to him about what really happened to Gabriel. Secrets don't last forever, the same way how it happened to Gabriel and possibly will happen to Cerise if she ever gets found or discovered. 
Right after Gabriel made his wish and his death, he did won by passing his burden to Marinette to be responsible to not tell Adrien the dark truth. It can nearly ruin their relationship but I still hope Adrienette is strong for them since Adrien needs new love in his life than his late Mother did to raise him with love. Even Marinette herself to be with Adrien and help him figure out what he wants to do later with his life. He has all the time in the world to figure it out. But right now, he just wants to be with Marinette. Like he said, she is special and life wouldn't be the same without her.

Marinette needs to find a way for Adrien not to go through any stages of grief. If this happens, he can lose his positivity and not want to be near anyone else or he'll be akumatized again. If only Monarch could stop using people for his dirty work so much.
"I better get to the mansion before he suffers more pain," She said.
"But if he finds out you're Ladybug, end of the world," Tikki said.
"I'm out of ideas," Marinette said.
"The only thing we can do hope for is Felix being there to help Adrien accept the truth. Denying his father is like denying himself to believe he needs his father when he needs someone who cares for him more" Tikki said.
"I just hope it works. We've made enough mistakes" Marinette looks out the window.
Especially since she was emotionally bottled up with not getting involved in Lila's games, she herself ended up as Princess Justice. After seeing the footage of her akuma's rampage made her feel horrified at how her anger made her a destructive monster. She can't blame how she felt with those who were gullible around Lila but the truth had to be told. Even if Princess Justice was beyond angry, Paris needed to see the hard truth of who Lila was and what she did. But she didn't want to hurt anyone. Every time as Marinette, no one believes her.
"So you haven't forgotten me yet?" A mental image of Princess Justice appeared.
"I haven't" Marinette replied.
"You got your justice against that liar, but you're still not satisfied," Princess Justice said with a cruel smirk.
"Hurting the ones I love doesn't mean I'm justified. Everyone may have seen what Lila truly is but I would never use an Akuma power to prove it, not like this" Marinette said.
"You had the power to end criminal life, even the one you seek to end" Princess Justice sat near her sofa in her mind.
"Not like this as you! What we did was force the people to see the truth out of fear" Marinette refused to believe her akuma can do justice.
"Sometimes you have to use fear to make people open their eyes" Princess Justice replied.
"But that doesn't mean we have the right to give them trauma to have their life ruined," Marinette said, knowing how trauma works in ways to haunt the person's mind without any positive energy left.
