The room was filled with a disjointed yet oddly charming peace. Mina was engrossed in her phone, tapping away at the screen, while Kirishima had joined in on the video game chaos with the other two. Surprisingly, Bakugo was also texting, a small smile making its way onto his face as shared messages with Izuku. As Mina glanced at him, She couldn't help but snap a few sneaky photos, silently storing them away for future blackmail. Even if Bakugo knew, he probably wouldn't have been too bothered by it.
Eventually Bakugo just left without a word as he made his way to the roof as his phone rang soon being picked up on the other end "hey Kachan" Izuku spoke with his typical nonchalant eagerness that made him well him "hey nerd you know I ditched the extras for this call so what you want " Bakugo felt the cold night air against his face as he looked out over the campus "well I just wanted to say they suit you a lot like a lot a lot " he chuckled on the other line and all Bakugo could imagine was Izuku fiddling with his hair but he probably wasn't 
"You couldn't just say that with a text, dumbass Deku," Bakugo scoffed, trying to mask his nervousness. "But I guess we can have a proper conversation if you're up for it," he continued, his voice betraying a hint of hope. There was a brief pause, and then Bakugo could almost feel the smile spreading across Izuku's face through the phone. "Actually, I was hoping you would say that," he heard the boy reply. You could here the smile coming through the phone held carefully in Bakugo's hand as he could notice how quiet it sounded it was one off those reminders off what he was loosing 
(I'm just gonna do dialogue since how the hell do you describe what you do during a phone call)
"Of course you did nerd"
"Well what do you wanna talk about hmm?"
"I don't know, did you eat dinner I mean an actual meal and not just instant ramen" 
"I Kachan your not my mom and I'm not a kid anymore"
"Well you don't have auntie to cook for you anymore so someone's gotta make sure you didn't spend all your time on work"
"I kind off I did have ramen but I also had some food my classmates made okay so I did eat.... Happy"
"Very means you ain't gonna die on me soon" 
Bakugo smirked, knowing all too well about Izuku's tendency to get completely absorbed in his work. The boy was smart, but he also had a tendency to hyperfixate on whatever he was doing. If he was in his "zone," he would often ignore his basic needs until his work was complete. Bakugo took advantage of this fact and tried to use it as a way to gently remind the boy to take care of himself.
"Mina sent me a video earlier" The boy on the other line went silent for several seconds. Bakugo groaned upon hearing Izuku's comment. "Damn Mina," he muttered under his breath. He had a feeling Mina would send it but just hopped she would be kind enough not to. "I rember you talked about it in middle school to the girls about how you were not just going to be the best but the coolest  hero". Izuku was talking about past memories, and the memory of it made him cringe internally. "You remember that?" Bakugo asked, trying to play it off as indifference, but failing miserably. He was secretly impressed that Izuku had remembered such a dumb moment from their middle school days but, he rarely rembered anything from the childhood but he rembers that of all things of course he fucking did. Bakugo broke the silence 
"Yeah and what's the big deal"
"Well why didn't you... You have the stuff doesn't um Sero have them you two are friends. I just wanna know"
"Well why, it's not your concern what I do" he snapped slightly 
"Well I "
There was silence on both ends off the for several minutes and awkward but comfortable silence until Izuku broke the silence
"Well I just thought they would look cool that's all but are they not allowed by the safety commission or something" Izuku awkwardly tried to break the tension he himself had created 
"There allowed but still .... Can you talk a little louder"
"Oh sorry Kachan" he was almost shouting but at least he was trying was what Bakugo thought 
"I think you'd look cool with them... That's if you want to flaunt your hearing aids, Which since I'm already going to die from my unsolicited advice I might as well continue but I think you should do it they would suit you but it's your choice" the line went silent on both ends
"I have a design already if you want to come round to the workshop after school tomorrow to review it?"
"Sure I'll see if I can drop by I'm guessing you'll be there all evening" Bakugo responded awkwardly "I left the extras in my room so I should check they have done anything... Bye" he hung up quickly feeling uncomfortable and flustered and he wasn't quite thinking straight when he stormed back to his room and either for  better or worse his friends were all still there
"Yo man where'd you go you have been gone a while?" Bakugo ignored what was said before reaching on his shelf "Oi Soy sauce how do I do this crap" Everyone in the room turned to him and Sero took the box "You sure dude? You were all it was a thing of my pride 30 minutes ago?" Sero for once was not teasing Bakugo since he was exciting but Denki couldn't help himself "Did someone change your mind... Maybe a support course student called Midoriya" he smirked before being met with another pillow to the face and he fell to the floor "ow dude I'm sorry man" Denki rubbed his head as he sat there and Kirishima gave him a look off 'you should probably shut up now' and he seemed to get the hint. Bakugo sat down on his bed focusing on Sero "what does it matter I wanna do it now so will you fucking help or not"
"Okay you sure though just checking cause like this will take a long time to get decent progress right?" Bakugo just glared up at him assuming that would be answer enough and Sero knew better then to question him "okay so" he sat down and looked in the box examining it "you seem to have everything you would need. You'll need to clean it obviously then you rub around your ear with the balm and some on your tapers which this will hurt like a lot"
(I feel like it should be specified now that I have never stretched my ears nor do I know anybody who does so this is all from a lot off googling so um yeah I also think I'll do it on a quicker time frame then it would actually take since this would take like fricking years in reality)

After several minutes and Bakugo threatening to kill everyone in his room several times over but eventually it was done and Bakugo looked like as Mina said a pouty pomeranian. Bakugo was looking at himself in the handheld mirror Mina threw at him he wouldn't admit out loud but even the small ones in his ears currently he believed he looked fucking cool but what he said out loud "mhh how long till I can go bigger" and Sero just groaned "okay Kat's it well take time man just leave it for now and if you hate em just take them out that it should go back to normal in a bit but, for my generous help you gotta tell me what made you change your mind. It's only fair"
Bakugo groaned and lay his head on the bed before looking back up at him "Mina sent the nerd the video off me ranting off about it some nostalgia and he said he thought it was cool and blah blah blah okay" there was no immediate mockery since Denki had learned to temporarily shut up but the rest off the group could appreciate the fact Bakugo was actually dealing with his long time crush in his way. But Bakugo assumed they were judging him for doing it since Izuku said he should "I still did it cause I fuckin wanted too... Doing something cause your crush likes it isn't wrong Shitty hair gets pinky over there to dye his hair since there a thing but started because he didn't know how to flirt" he crossed his arms "we never said anything it's good that your trying man and don't judge my ability to flirt I got that beautiful lady to date me I have game" Mina snickered in the corner "more like I took pity... I'm kidding I'm kidding " Her teasing took a quick 180 when Kirishima face had the slightest hint off sadness from the comment
