"Okay, one more time. And no more mistakes, please." Someone yelled to a group of boys, and music started playing again, and they started dancing. We just got here as our rehearsals only started at 2pm so we could sleep in.

We all stood in sweatpants and loose shirts, waiting for anything, basically. Everyone was running around, shouting orders over the music that played as these boys sang their songs. I didn't recognize them, but they were really talented, and the song was catchy.

Finally, after twenty minutes of waiting, the lady with the bob found us and greeted us with a wide smile on her face.

"I was waiting for you. I'm not usually one to come to practices but decided to come and see how you girls are." She bowed and started walking, nodding her head for us to follow.

"Le Sserafim is done with vocal lessons now and are getting ready for their dance practice, so in here, " She pointed to a big room with the wall and doors made of windows. Inside was a young female, probably a few years older than us, sitting on the floor, crossed-legged. And when she saw us, she jumped up and ran to open the door.

"Is our vocal coach Lee Sojin." She nodded towards the smiley young woman, and we bowed to her. Waving with both hands so excitedly at us, she was beaming with energy.

"Call me Lee or Jin. I'm so excited to work with you. I watched your videos, and I have to admit, you girls are powerful." She nodded, and I blushed as we thanked her. She then started laughing and nodded her head for us to follow her in. Bob lady left us with a bow and a sweet motherly smile.

"Since I know your voices. Please," She jumped around, facing us, causing us to stop abruptly to not knock into her. "tell me you're not just doing safe, simple songs? I need your voices to be heard." She clapped her hands together as if begging us, and a blush rose.

"Yeah. I mean, our songs are difficult. We hate doing simple." Vic smiled shyly as she spoke. Lee smiled widely and bounced off again. Turning to the girls, I smiled nervously. She was so very happy to be here. Her mood made the energy so much better, and it made me so happy to start singing.

She pulled out a box and looked up at us. "Hand or head?" Her beautiful face scanned us from head to toe as we stood, not knowing what to answer. It wasn't until she pulled the mics out that it made sense, causing her to laugh at our confusion. We all chose hand mics since it's easier to dance around with a hand held one than be bothered by something on our faces the whole performance.

Handing it to us, she scanned the room before her gaze landed on Madi, who smiled nervously. She bit her bottom lip, still staring at Mads, before turning around and walking back towards her duffle bag. Madi turned to us, eyes wide with confusion, and I had to hold my mouth shut to not laugh.

"And what songs did you choose? Is their choreo or are you the type to stand still and sing?" She asked, turning back around with a little notebook in her hands. It was full of black scribbles as she scanned it.

"We don't think there's choreography. The songs we chose don't have dances to them in general, but we're open to adding. And no, we don't just stand still." Vic answered proudly, her thumb running over the mic, showing her nerves. Lee nodded and wrote something down before throwing it back in her bag.

"Okay," she clapped her hands before stretching her arms up, "Let's start."

"We chose 'Nightmare' by Halsey, 'Love on Top' by Beyonce, and the final is 'Starving'. By us." I blushed as my heart skipped a beat as a smile formed. Our song. I could actually scream in happiness.

Lee's eyes widened as she jumped up and down in excitement.

"I love Beyonce. Yes, that is amazing. And nightmare? Don't know it. But let's do it."
