Chapter 28 - The Wolf's Out of the Bag

                                    

                                          
Bella and Isaak officially became a couple, and Bella was still confused about what was happening with Jake. She knew Harley and the other traditional vampires knew but weren't allowed to say anything, so she kept trying to figure it out herself. But Bella had decided enough was enough and went to the Res to confront Jake. Isaak was with her trying to calm her down...yeah he didn't have much luck.
Harley was with Embry and the pack as they were on their way to get Jacob. They were planning on training together in wolf form and went to pick up Jake.
Harley ran up behind Embry and jumped on his back as the boys walked over towards Jacob's house. Embry huffed in mock exasperation and adjusted her so she wouldn't fall. Harley laughed and kissed his cheek, causing Embry to look down with a smirk and slightly reddened cheeks.
When they got near Jake's, they saw Bella coming out the door like a girl on a mission. She turned around and approached Sam and shoved him.
"What did you do?! Hey, what did you do? What did you do to him?" Bella asks as she shoves Sam. Harley hopped off of Embry's back.
"Woah, Bella. Calm down." Harley says, walking up to Bella as Isaak tries to pull her back without hurting her with his strength.
"He didn't want this!" Bella says to Sam as she pulls her arm away from Isaak.
Paul starts getting angry. "What did we do? What did he do? What did he tell you?"
"Both of you, calm down." Sam says as Embry pulls Harley back away from them and holds her to his chest.
"Nothing! He tells me nothing because he's scared of you." Bella says, and the boys laugh. Bella then slaps Paul.
"Uh-oh." Harley says
"Too late now." Jared says
"Bella! Get back!" Isaak says as he tries to get Bella to come with him without forcing her. He didn't want to be controlling with her.
"Paul. Calm down now." Sam demands
Paul's anger gets the best of him, and he shifts. Isaak grabs Bella and speeds them away from the angry shifter.
"Bella!" Jake calls, and Bella turns and sees Jake jump over the banister.
"No, Jake! Run! Jake, run!" Bella says from behind Isaak, who is standing in front of her protectively.
Jake jumps and shifts in mid-air. He and Paul start to fight. Paul and Jake end up rolling into the woods to keep fighting.
"Hey, take Bella back to my place." Sam tells Jared and Embry before turning to Harley. "You and Isaak go with them."
"Looks like the wolf's out of the bag." Embry says
"Yup. Looks like you stumbled upon the secret, Bells. Let's go." Harley says, and the five of them go to the truck. Embry drives with Harley in the middle and Bella on the passenger side. Jared and Isaac are in the bed of the truck.

Bella's truck rolls in front of Sam and Emily's house. Embry gets out of the driver's seat, and Harley slides out after him as Jared and Isaak hop out of the truck bed. Embry puts his arm around Harley as the two of them and Jared start walking towards Sam and Emily's house. Isaak stands by the truck waiting for Bella.
Bella rolls down the windows and says, "Hey. I think we should go back and see if Jacob's okay."
"Don't worry about him, Bella. Jake is fine." Harley says
"I hope Paul sinks some teeth into him. Serves him right." Jared says
"No way. Jacob's a natural. You see him phase on the fly? I got five saying Paul doesn't touch him." Embry comments.
