diaz apartment !

Kaia Diaz sat infront of her body mirror that was in the corner of her room, braiding her hair into her usual french braids.
since she taught herself how to do them, they've been in kaia's hair most frequently, and she thought they were cute.
"do i look stupid?" miguel questioned as he barged in, not caring to knock. "be honest. i feel like i look stupid." miguel added
kaia tied off her second braid, turning around to see her brother. a large smile pooled onto her face, "miggy, you look adorable!" she exclaimed
miguel furrowed his brows, "i dont wanna look adorable! i wanna look sexy, or hot." he sighed, looking into her mirror
"well im not calling you either of those so..." kaia remarked, making miguel crack a smile. 
as she got up from the floor, miguel asked her, "do you think sam will like it?" kaia smiled at how anxious her brother was for prom
kaia tilted her head as she took more time to examine his tuxedo, "she will love it, miggy. now stop stressing and hurry up!" she ushered him out of her room, knowing he wasnt done getting ready
the younger diaz stood back in front of her mirror, analyzing the outfit she was wearing. kaia knew that they'd be taking pictures so she had to dress semi decently
she wore a pair of basic light wash denim jeans, and a red 'the amazing spiderman' off the shoulder baggy t-shirt, finishing the outfit with her orange converse 
kaia was still yet to find her black converse so the orange will continue to return, in almost every single outfit she wore. 
"kiki, what are you doing?" carmen questioned outside her bedroom door, knocking twice before letting herself in
kaia turned at the sound of her mothers voice, "just getting dressed" kaia told her, analyzing her moms outfit, which was a red dress with flowers on it
carmen couldnt help smiling at her daughter. "i really appreciate you going. i mean, since anthony will be there" carmen told her daughter
"well it's miguels prom, i kinda have to be there" kaia shrugged, awkwardly messing with the end of one of her braids, not wanting it to be a big thing. 
still her mother smiled, "yes, but i didnt have to force you like i did last time we went to the larussos" carmen observed 
kaia shifted on her feet, really hoping the subject would change soon. "i like your dress!" kaia told her mother, successfully changing the topic
carmen looked down at her dress, "really? its the nicest one i could find in my closet." carmen then looked at her daughters outfit. "spiderman, really kiki?" carmen smiled
"what! its cute, and im going to devons after so i wanted to be comfortable!" kaia reasoned, a smile tugging at her lips
yaya then stood in kaias doorframe, also looking at the girls outfit. "Tu camisa es graciosa, mariquita." ( your shirt is funny, ladybug. ) yaya told her
kaias jaw dropped as a smile came over, "es linda no divertida!" ( its cute not funny! ) kaia defended herself in spanish
miguel exited his bedroom, finding all three women standing there, making his eyes widen. "you guys ready to go?" he asked them
everyone glanced at kaia who nodded, "ive been ready!" she exclaimed once noticing that all three of them were staring at her
"vamos!" ( lets go! ) yaya called out, clapping her hands.
