A couple of days later, the Min household was filled with the quiet hum of daily life. Y/N was lounging comfortably in the living room, her belly prominently round and heavy with their second child. She had a book in hand, but her eyes were half-closed as she enjoyed the gentle afternoon sunlight streaming through the windows.

Suddenly, she heard the pitter-patter of little feet. Hae-Won came running into the room, her face lit up with excitement. "Mommy! Mommy!" she called out, nearly out of breath from her sprint.

Y/N looked up and smiled at her daughter. "Yes, sweetheart? What's got you so excited?"

Hae-Won climbed onto the couch beside her and touched her mother's belly with wide eyes full of wonder. "Can I paint the baby belly? Please, Mommy?"

Y/N chuckled, delighted by the innocence and creativity of her request. She rubbed her belly thoughtfully, considering it. "You want to paint my belly?"

Hae-Won nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! It will be fun, and the baby will like it!"

Touched by her daughter's enthusiasm, Y/N agreed. "Okay, but we need to use special paint that's safe for skin. Let's go find some."

Hae-Won jumped up with a cheer, and together they headed to Y/N's craft supplies. Y/N had a set of non-toxic, washable body paints, perfect for their little art project.

They returned to the living room, and Y/N spread out an old sheet to protect the couch. She then sat down with her belly exposed, and Hae-Won eagerly picked out her favorite colors.

Just as they were about to start, the front door opened. Yoongi walked in, home a bit earlier than usual. He stopped in his tracks when he saw the scene before him—Y/N with paintbrushes and paint pots, and Hae-Won holding a brush poised to start painting. His eyebrows shot up in a mixture of surprise and curiosity.

"What's going on here?" he asked, his voice tinged with amusement and a hint of skepticism.

Both Y/N and Hae-Won turned to look at him, identical mischievous grins spreading across their faces. Y/N raised an eyebrow, mirroring his skeptical gaze. "We're just doing some belly art," she explained. "Hae-Won thought it would be fun to paint the baby belly."

Yoongi's initial skepticism melted into a chuckle. "Belly art, huh?" He walked over and knelt down to be at their level. "That sounds like a creative idea. Can I join in?"

Hae-Won's face lit up even more, and she nodded vigorously. "Yes, Daddy! You can paint with us!"

Yoongi smiled, clearly charmed by his daughter's excitement. "Alright, let me wash my hands first," he said, heading to the kitchen to prepare.

When he returned, they all settled in comfortably. Hae-Won dipped her brush into a bright yellow paint and began making small circles on Y/N's belly. Y/N guided her gently, ensuring that she was using light strokes. Yoongi picked up a brush and began painting a little rainbow beside Hae-Won's circles.

As they painted, they talked and laughed, the living room filled with the warm sounds of their family enjoying a simple, creative moment together.

"Mommy, look at this flower I painted!" Hae-Won exclaimed proudly, showing off her work.

Y/N admired it, her heart swelling with love. "It's beautiful, sweetheart. The baby is going to love having such a colorful belly."

Yoongi, with a concentration that belied his usual calm demeanor, was adding details to his rainbow. "I think we're going to have the most colorful baby ever," he said, grinning.

They continued for a while, each taking turns adding their own artistic touch to the baby belly. By the time they finished, Y/N's belly was a vibrant canvas of flowers, rainbows, and abstract patterns—a collaborative masterpiece created by their little family.

When they finally stepped back to admire their work, Yoongi took a moment to capture the moment with his phone. He snapped a few pictures, making sure to get one with all three of them. "We need to remember this day," he said, showing them the photos. "It's not every day we turn Mommy into a piece of art."

Y/N laughed, feeling a mix of joy and tenderness. "This is definitely one of my favorite moments."

After cleaning up, they spent the rest of the evening together, cuddled up on the couch, watching a family movie. The baby belly painting had brought them even closer, a shared memory that they would treasure.

As the evening turned into night, Yoongi tucked Hae-Won into bed. She fell asleep almost immediately, exhausted from the day's excitement. Yoongi lingered for a moment, watching her sleep, a soft smile on his face.

He returned to the living room, where Y/N was resting with her feet up. He sat beside her, taking her hand in his. "Thank you for today," he said softly. "It was perfect."

Y/N squeezed his hand gently. "I think we both needed it. Just a little reminder of how wonderful our family is."

They sat in comfortable silence for a while, the love and contentment of the day wrapping around them like a warm blanket. Despite the challenges and uncertainties of the days ahead, they knew they could face anything together.

As they headed to bed, Y/N felt a wave of gratitude wash over her. Their family was about to grow, and while there were still many unknowns, there was also a profound sense of love and unity that she knew would carry them through anything.
