Episode 3 Continued - Her Butler, Trained to Heal

I stared lazily into the dark room, haven been put to bed hours ago, it seemed.

Sebastian instructed that I should sleep, but I couldn't... not with everything on my mind. It was chaos in my head, everything running rampant and screaming at me.

I needed to find out who that 'father' person was, I needed to figure out of Eileen was the first he remodified.

I lightly ran my hand down my face and sighed, sitting up on my bed as I rubbed my eyes.

Hmm... I wondered what Sebastian was doing. It was a little after three in the morning, so was he asleep?

Did demons even sleep?

I just let out a soft yawn and picked up my eye patch, quickly tying it behind my head and getting up off the bed.

After spending too much time struggling to put on my daily wear-curse Sebastian for finding such chaotic stuff, only he could put them on the right way-I then got my shoes on, brows drawing together as I struggled to slip my feet in, and when I did, I leaned down to try to tie them.

I made an impatient sound when I pulled at the laces. "Uhm... what was it father said? Over the rabbit? Wait, no." I attempted to form a loop, but it slipped apart. "Ugh. How do I do this again?"

I struggled for a moment, trying to remember how to tie laces, but I couldn't recall how.

"Ah, master," Sebastian said from behind me, making me stiffen, "can't do anything without your butler, can you?"

I just closed my eyes tightly as he sat a lamp he held on my nightstand and circled around me, tying my laces quickly afterward.

He then stood up, smiling at me. "Ah, no, this won't do."

I blinked, but he just pulled at the knot I formed from my eye patch.

He circled back around me and started undoing it. "You have to tie it in the form of a bow, master. You see, when you do it like this, it's too tight. You knot things like this if you won't want them coming off. You'll have a hell of a time trying to undo it."

I stared forward, cheeks lighting slightly as he undid it and tied it the right way.

"Now, master," Sebastian stepped back around, picking up the lamp, "where is it you want to go?"

"Out," I said.

"I see," he smiled a little, "well, come on then."

He started out the bedroom door and I followed him.

We walked all the way down to the main entrance, and Sebastian set the lamp aside, once more, to catch my jacket and help me into it.

He buttoned it up seconds later and turned away, opening the front door seconds later.
