Chandler and Darcy were back in their apartment, surrounded by piles of wedding gifts. The aftermath of their beautiful wedding was now a tangible reminder of the love and support from their friends and family. "This one's from Ross," Chandler said, handing Darcy a beautifully wrapped box.
Darcy opened it carefully to reveal a set of elegant champagne flutes. The delicate crystal sparkled in the light. "They're gorgeous," she said, smiling. "Perfect for our anniversary celebrations."
Chandler grinned, taking one of the flutes and pretending to toast. "To us, and to always having a reason to celebrate."
As they admired their gifts, Joey walked in, holding up a bright red sweater. "Hey, does this belong to any of you?" he asked, looking puzzled.
Darcy and Chandler glanced at each other, then back at Joey. "Nope, not mine," Chandler said, shaking his head.
The group gathered in the living room, each taking turns trying to figure out who the sweater belonged to. Rachel and Phoebe joined in, but nobody seemed to claim it. "It's not mine," Phoebe declared, scrutinizing the sweater.
"Oh yeah, that's mine," Ross suddenly said, entering the apartment. He nonchalantly picked up the sweater and left.
Joey's eyes widened in realization. "Wait, does that mean Ross is Rachel's baby daddy?" Joey blurted out, the room falling silent.
Darcy looked shocked. "I guess it does." She turned to look at Rachel, who was standing frozen, her eyes darting between the rest of the group.
Rachel took a deep breath. "Yes, it's true. Ross is the father," she admitted, her voice steady despite the tension in the room.
Everyone was momentarily stunned. Monica, who had just walked in, dropped the box she was carrying. "Ross, is going to be a dad again?" she asked, a mix of surprise and excitement in her voice.
Rachel nodded, looking a bit overwhelmed. "Yeah."
The friends quickly regrouped, surrounding Rachel with support. "We're here for you, whatever you need," Chandler said.
As they continued to unwrap gifts, the conversation shifted back to happier topics. Chandler and Darcy reminisced about their honeymoon, sharing stories and laughs. "I loved Italy," Chandler said, smiling at the memory. "We should go back for our anniversary."
Darcy nodded enthusiastically. "Definitely. And next time, we'll make sure to bring a camera that works."
Chandler laughed, remembering their mishap with the broken camera. "Yeah, I still can't believe we have no pictures from our first trip as a married couple."
Phoebe, always the optimist, chimed in. "Well, you'll just have to make new memories. And this time, make sure to document everything!"
Monica started sorting through the gifts, making a list of who had given what. "We need to send out thank you notes," she said, ever the organizer.
Darcy smiled at Monica's meticulousness. "You're right, Mon. We'll do that this weekend."
Meanwhile, Joey was still fixated on the red sweater revelation. "So, Ross and Rachel, huh?" he said, shaking his head. "This is going to be interesting."
Rachel laughed lightly, trying to ease the tension. "Yeah, it's definitely going to be a wild ride."
The group nodded in agreement, their bond evident in the supportive smiles and reassurances. Darcy looked around at her friends, feeling a surge of gratitude. "We really are lucky to have each other," she said softly to Chandler.
Chandler squeezed her hand. "We are. And no matter what, we'll face everything together."
As the evening continued, the friends settled into their usual camaraderie, the initial shock giving way to laughter and warmth. Darcy and Chandler shared a quiet moment, watching their friends with contentment.
"This is what it's all about," Chandler said, wrapping an arm around Darcy. "Family, friends, and being there for each other."
Darcy leaned into him, feeling a sense of peace. "Absolutely. And I wouldn't have it any other way."
