"As far as I could tell I was the last person alive, I could never tell who killed the human race." Five continued.
"I did find something else." He said while gripping my thigh. I looked at him as he looked back. 
He paused, "the date it happens. The world ends in eight days. I have no idea how to stop it."
He admitted.
"Five... I'm sorry" I whispered feeling a tear slip he wiped it away, "No. no im sorrys. You know how shitty I felt leaving you? I didn't keep my promise." He remembered.
I stared at him, remembering the promise he gave me the day he left.

Many years ago:
I was sitting in my bed room drawing when Five pops in.
"Hey beautiful" he smirks coming up to me and playing with my hair. I rolled my eyes. "Hi." I said moving away.
"Are you mad at me?" He asked. "No." I said while mumbling. "Well, if this will change your mind about being mad at me....I'm leaving today." He said.
This made me stand up, "what do you mean you're leaving today? And you think that will make me change my mind about being mad?! Five?" I asked feeling upset. He was going to leave me alone. 
 "I'm going to ask dad to time travel." He said casually, while smiling. "Five you can't! you know, how dangerous that is! What if you get stuck there!" I said tearing up. It felt like he didn't care, how this was affecting me. 
He came over pulling me in a hug, "I'll come back for you,  I always will." He said in a whisper. "But what if you don-" "sh" he shushed me holding me close. He handed me his jacket. "Here take this at least it's something you'll have of me" he said.
"Five- you're acting like you will be dead, or you'll be leaving me " I said feeling myself cry more.
"I won't- I promise. I won't because like I said, I'll always come back." He said playing with my hair.
I looked up at him, "is that all you have to say for reassurance?" I asked. I was hoping for more than just words.
"Maybe you can be reassured for this." He mumbled. He pulled my face gently to him, I felt his lips soon immediately on mine.
He started kissing me gently, i kissed back while I  felt so many butterflies go in my stomach. This was my first kiss... with Five.
He pushed me on the bed gently, while slightly kissing more, but then soon stopped. I was half on the bed and he was half on top of me. "Just... wait for me." He said catching his breath. I looked at him in his eyes. 
"Promise." "Five I'll always wait for you." I said.
"As long as you come back,  like you promised." I smirked.
He rolled his eyes smiling, he took my hand pulling me into a final hug.
The bell rung downstairs, it was time for a meal so we went down running. All of our other siblings joined.
I stood in between Diego and Five.
All of us waited for father to come down. I looked at Klaus who rolled his eyes annoyed, that we had to wait every meal. 
I wanted to laugh but I knew I couldn't even speak. There was a rule that we had, which was no talking at meal.
Our father soon appears he stood across from Vanya on the other end, he pulled his chair out, "Sit!" He ordered.
Five pulled my chair out, I sat in quickly as he sat in his chair. 
All of us were eating I kept looking over at Five. I was nervous. I hope father would deny him.
I felt a hand on my thigh making me confused, I looked over seeing it was Diego's. He smiled at me a bit.
I noticed Five looked angry.
He slammed his knife down on the table making Diego take his hand off, along with me jumping in my seat. 
"Number Five!" Father calls out.
"I have a question!" Five started.
Here we go. 
"Knowledge is an admirable goal, but you know the rules. No talking during mealtimes. You are interrupting Herr Carlson." I tried to nudge Five with my leg he looked at me for a minute. I shook my head no.
He stared at me like our eyes were competing with each other, i could tell everyone was staring at us, "I want to time travel" Five said suddenly. 
"No!" Father said I quietly sighed of relief but-I somehow knew this wouldn't stop him.
Five glared at him, "But I'm ready!" I've been practicing my spatial jumps, just like you said!" He spatial jumped to father on the side of the table.
"See?" Five questions. "A spatial jump is trivial when compared  with the unknowns of time travel. One is like sliding along the ice. The other is akin to descending blindly into the depths of the freezing water and reappearing as an acorn ." Father spoke.
"Well, I don't get it." Five replied. "Hence the reason you're not ready." Five looked at me I shook my head trying to plead with him with my eyes.
Beg him not to go.
"Im not afraid" "fear isn't the issue. The effects it might have on your body even on your mind,  are far too unpredictable. Now I forbid you to talk about this anymore!" Father orders.
Five started leaving, "Five!" I called out standing up.
"Number five!" Father calls out.
"You haven't been excused." I went to go after him but Diego grabbed my arm.
"Come back here!" The doors slammed shut.
No.... Five was leaving..
He can't.. I suddenly felt dizzy. 
"Y/n I need you to sit down and eat your food." I stared at the food in front of me, feeling faint.
Everything went black.  "Y/N!" I heard Diego shout.
