Jasmine's move in day at UCONN came faster than expected. Moving all her things into her dorm was much harder than she had anticipated, she told her parents that she could do it on her own. Wishing she had let them help her move in. She carried boxes after boxes up the stairs.
Struggling with the two boxes stacked on top of the other Jasmine heard a voice call out.
"Hey do you need some help with those?'
Jasmine turned to see who was asking. She was met by a blonde with a warm smile and beautiful blue eyes.
"Yeah I could use some help, here could you take this one?"
 The blonde grabbed the box from Jasmine and followed her up the stairs to her dorm. Once inside, both girls placed their boxes on the ground.
"I'm Paige.", the blonde girl said while sticking out her hand.
"I'm Jasmine." She responded while accepting Paige's handshake.
"Like the princess?" Paige asked a question that normally annoyed Jasmine not bothering her coming from the blonde's mouth.
"Yeah, like the princess." Jasmine smiled.
"Let me help you with the rest of your stuff." Paige offered.
Jasmine accepted because caring all of those boxes was getting tiring.
As the two headed back up and down the stairs with boxes and about Jasmine's transfer to UCONN. Explained that she had completed her general education at a community college near her home and played softball while attending. She planned on pursuing a career and social work and get her masters degree for it at UCONN.
"So are you gonna play softball here too?" Paige asked.
"Yes, I have my first summer practice next week." Jasmine responded.
"Oh, that's cool. We have summer training for basketball starting soon too. I'm actually going to lunch later with some of the girls. You should come too. Y'know meet some people."
"Yeah, I'd love to. I really don't have anything else to do." Jasmine said with a smile.
"Let's finish with these boxes then we could head over I'll drive." Paige offers.
