"So, I feel like we should talk about names." Snape Said softly

"I agree, Professor."

"That! You don't have to call me Professor!" his tone turned Loud and Angry fast. I flinched at the sudden tone shift. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to raise my voice. I just mean." he paused and sat in the chair in my room. "I'm not your professor anymore, Miss song."

"I won't call you Professor anymore if you don't call me Miss Song." I said in response my Voice quiet.

"Alright so what do we call each other?"

"Well um this still feels wrong so maybe stick with Song? And just lose the Miss...Seeing as I'm not a miss anymore."

"Alright." he said "what about last names? Will you be taking mine?"

"I would rather not. I would like to keep my name. But I guess I would be willing to Hyphenate. Song-Snape.?"

"No need, it's fine."

"Alright." I let out a sigh "Well then is that all?"

"I still need something to call you sir. I'm afraid I don't know your name."

He felt a little bit uncomfortable. He shifted in his chair. "Stick with Sir for now."

I read in my room for a while. It's how I spend my days now. Reading alone in my room. Crying myself to sleep at night. I made dinner every night not because he asked me to but because I wanted to.  The first time I did it he was thoroughly confused. Snape didn't have much in his cupboards, but he had a few boxes of Fancy mac and cheese. I never would have expected him to have box mac and cheese. He seems to fancy that but regardless I spiced it up.

The school year was starting soon. And we had packed up and moved into the castle in His Private chambers. Upgraded with a spare room for me. Before the students arrived, I was feeling sentimental and decided to go for a walk around the halls.

"Ahh Mrs. Snape. Nice to see you again." I heard him say

I turned around to see who it was. "Oh, I Kept my name actually Headmaster" I said with a sad smile.

"Walking the newly old Stomping grounds, are you?" he asked if I just nodded and asked if he wanted to join. "Sure, I'll join you Mrs. Song."

"Thank you, Professor." I said as we started to walk.

"So, Mrs. song How is the Marriage So far if you don't mind me asking."

"Oh. um. It's been Quiet." We walk in silence for a moment. "Lonely. It's been Quite Quiet and Lonely"

"I'm Sorry Dear." he paused. "If I could have done something to stop the wedding I would have. But it would have blown Severus Cover."

"Severus?" So that's his first name. Now I know his name. Good to know. Although I'm not sure I'll ever call him that.

"Well, this is my stop Mae." We stopped in front of the Eagle statue that led to his office. "Is it okay if I call you Mae now that you're no longer a student?"

"Yes. That's fine. I get enough of being called Song by my Hus-husband."

About a month into the school year. Snape and I have gotten Slightly Closer. Most of the time he eats in the great hall. I have no friends and nothing to do but cook. As I sat on the couch, reading a book in our chambers, Snape came from work, narrowing his eyes at me. Both of us stayed silent, not wanting to talk to each other, because we never had anything to talk about and more recently, we were getting in arguments anytime we spoke.
