after a very comfortable ride, the pair had finally arrived in corona.
"so, what do you think?" ben asked, offering his hand to ruby's as the two hopped off of his motorcycle.
"well all i can see right now is the forest, but this is a nice tree!" ruby exclaimed, pointing to a big oak tree nearby.
ben laughed at ruby's reaction before speaking, "don't worry, this isn't corona, yet. i wanted to park in this forest so we had time to talk and i could surprise you with the real corona".
"talk? about what?" ruby asked, unsure on what the boy was going to say.
"you. i-i mean, i feel like there's so much to know about each other that we haven't unveiled yet" ben smiled as he and ruby began walking in step, arms brushing against each other ever so slightly.
"what do you want to know?" ruby smirked, making the prince tense up at the look she was giving him.
"well i already told you my dream, what's yours?" ben asked, noticing ruby's sigh.
"the same as yours, ben. i think your dream is so beautiful, and i know so many kids on the isle that would love to be here right now" ruby said, knowing that none of that dream was going to come true once her and the vk's stole the wand.
ben stopped in his tracks, turning to face the girl in front of him as he grabbed her hands, speaking softly, "i promise as soon as i become king we will bring all of the kids from the isle over here".
ruby nodded with a sad glint in her eyes that she hoped ben didn't catch.
"now, close your eyes, i want to see your reaction when you see corona for the first time. it's the most beautiful land here, in my opinion of course" ben said.
ruby lightly closed her eyes as ben started leading her to the entrance of corona, tripping on a few rocks in the process.
the girl sneakily opened one eye, ben being quick to notice as he covered her eyes with his left hand before whispering in her ear, "no peeking darling".
ruby immediately listened and never even tried to peek again after that moment, hoping ben couldn't hear the millions of butterflies entering her stomach.
"okay are you ready?" ben whispered, standing right beside ruby as they stopped walking.
"yeah i am" the girl nodded excitedly, causing ben to take his hands off of her eyes and lean close to her ear, "open"
ruby opened her eyes, adjusting to the bright scenery but was quickly astonished at the view in front of her.
corona was the most beautiful place ruby had ever seen.
the brunette girl turned to stare at ben, who was already looking down at her with a wide grin on his face.
