{Third person's pov}
Ishika woke up just to witness Garv getting ready for his office, her eyebrows narrowed in confusion as she spoke, "where are you going this early?" 
He looked over at Ishika, somewhat surprised to see her awake this early. He smiled and walked over to the bed, sitting down next to her.
"I have an early meeting at the office today, berry. I didn't want to wake you up, so I was trying to be quiet."
"This early?" She asked and got up from the bed, she walked towards him and hugged him from behind resting her face on his back.
Garv chuckled, feeling Ishika's arms wrap around him from behind. He turned around and wrapped his own arms around her, pulling her closer to him.
"Yes, this early. I know, I know, it's not ideal. But sometimes you have to sacrifice sleep for work, right?"
"You always do that," she spoke with a pout, resting her face and hands on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
Garv chuckled at her pout, his hands gently running up and down her back in a soothing manner. He looked down at her, his expression softening as he spoke.
"I know, I'm a workaholic. But I do it all for you, our child, our family you know that, right?" Ishika nodded at his words as she broke the hug. 
"Alright then, drive safe. I am sleepy," she said while yawning.
Garv chuckled again, his hands still caressing her back. He leaned down and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Alright, alright, you big baby. Go back to sleep. I'll be home soon."
"Yeah soon," she spoke and walked towards the bed, she immediately covered her body with the quilt and entered her dreamland once again.
He walked towards the bed and bent down to plant a soft kiss on Ishika's forehead. He whispered a gentle farewell, and then quietly left the house, careful not to disturb her sleep.

Ishika was still waiting for Garv, she glanced at the clock as it hit 12. It's not like it was the first time he was getting late, but she was getting anxious maybe pregnancy harmones.
She had called him for more than 20 times but he wasn't responding, she decided to call him once again.
She took her phone from the night stand and called him, but this time it said that his phone was switched off. She got that feeling that something wasn't right. She felt a pang in her heart.
Getting more and more anxious as her mind started to imagine weird things, she shrugged her imagination off and rushed downstairs.
Walking towards her mother in law's room she knocked on the door, soon the door opened revealing her mother in law.
"What happened Ishika, you look worried?" Her mother in law spoke and her father in law woke up too, walking towards them he looked at Ishika.
"What happened beta?" He asked and Ishika took a heavy breath before speaking.
"Ma, Garv isn't home yet and his phone is switched off, I feel weird." She spoke, her voice laced with concern and tension.
Her mother in law cupped her cheeks before speaking, "calm down Ishika, he will arrive soon it's just your pregnancy making it hard for you." Her mother in law rubbed her arms.
And just then they heard her father in law's phone ringing, he narrowed his eyebrows before walking inside and grabbing his phone.
He picked up the call and spoke, "yes" "Mr. Kapoor am I talking to you?" The voice came, "yes" he spoke again, "sir your son Mr. Garv Kapoor got into an car accident, he is admitted at the city hospital." The person said and phone fell from his hand.
