i've been biking trying to ignore josephines commentary. "be careful, we're close to the camp now, when gabriel hears the engines he'll-"
"quiet. i'm concentrating"  i say. my vision keeps blurring in and out when i suddenly hit something. go flying off the bike and hit the ground,
i groan and take off the helmet, "told you i should drive" josephine says. i turn and see her, "now will you give me back control. or do i have to wait for you to fall asleep?"
"shut up. i have to call gabriel" i say, i grab the radio and sigh. "yea you broke that too"
"fuck" i mumble. i hear a motorcycle and i start getting up, "i have to hide"
"ok here's the deal if we go back to sanctum, i'll give you your body back" i stare at her knowingly. "fine! we can just wait for my guards to find us. it shouldn't be long now"
"you don't know that they're your people. what if the children of gabriel took out your guards? i mean, they do kind of suck" 
"you want to risk losing our head?" we hear engines continuing. 
we start walking and i follow her. "i swear to god if you're lying. i'll take out the mind drive myself, and destroy it before i die"
"yeesh. tense much, just keep your eyes moving all around so i can see. we're looking for... this" she stops walking and i look at a pile of leaves, 
"clear the leaves. you'll find a hatch" i bend down and move the leaves finding a hatch. i open the hatch and look at josephine.

we hide in the bunker and i look out of the crack and see guards, "i guess my guards don't suck after all do they?"
i turn and see her twirling her hair. "stop doing that" i get off the lighter and i hear voices. i can't hear what their saying, "there should be a lighter or some matches in the supply kit"
i move and open the kit. "we lay low here until they pass. then we go on foot" i say. i find the lighter and turn it on, i look around and find a candle.
i light the candle and look around, "what is this place?"
"observation blind, we built them all over. i use them to study species in their natural habitat"
i look in the supply kit and find a bottle, "studying huh?"
"research can get boring. gabriel helped with it"
"you guys seemed to have a lot of history, why does he want to kill you now?" i ask. "he doesn't"
"really? death to primes, could have fooled me" i say looking at her. "it's not literal. the children of gabriel consider themselves enlightened, freeing minds one at a time. in the 70 years since he left they've killed exactly no primes"
i stop looking around the box. "why did he leave?" 
"he wanted to be able to die, i didn't simple as that" i turn and sit down, "why, what are you thinking?" she asks. "i'm thinking it's not as simple as that. i'm thinking that he lost his taste for body snatching, and i'm hoping for all our sakes that he doesn't destroy your mind drive as soon as he takes it out"
"hmm, bellamys plan. save you, trade my drive for your people"
"it would mean letting you resurrect again. would he do it? does he still love you?" 
suddenly my vision starts to blur again. "julia. julia are you alright?" suddenly i can't hear anything she says and i start seizing.
